Is the sale of tranny in these accounts? If so, their loss could have been £160M? (ish)
No. That was in last year's. They made a profit of £40m last year, which would have been a £40m loss without the Ronaldo sale.

It would have been a larger loss than 40 mill as they capitalised ALL their sponsorship deal money with AON in year 1 instead of spreading it over the sponsorship period which I believe is 4 years.

Re: United Report Loss of £83.6m

Anyone else think this might see Rooney suddenly fancying a move to a warmer climate?

As a previous poster said without the sale of Tranny they would have been £80 million worse off last year.

I can't see the Glazers walking away from this as it's a cash cow for them but something will have to give, also bear in mind they need to rebuild an aging team ( not squad - Team!!! )

Where is it going to come from?

LOL

No.

They made a loss of 83 million. That's the bottom line as I understand it.
And ours was £121m?

Yep plus look at how many we spent on transfer compared to the rags.

But the difference is the Glazers are in debt themselves but the sheikh isnt so Mansour just pays the 121m off himself so we arent in debt.

You're confusing loss and debt, two different things. We lost £121m but that isn't £121m debt.

Your right my mistake pal.

But we lost 121 million and mansour just writes that off himself but the Glazers cant do that.
