Why does it matter to you lads so much that they hate us more? :D it's not exactly a big deal, like.
Anyway: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.redcafe.net/f6/rivalry-matters-more-you-city-liverpool-364717/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.redcafe.net/f6/rivalry-matte ... ol-364717/</a> the majority there share Scholes' view. Hope we stuff 'em on Sunday of course.
Eh? la.
See a manyoo match going fan and ask him the same question. The hurt is still there. It ripped them apart.
See how they celebrate against us. See how they try to belittle us the 50 out of 52 weeks when they don't play you.
Scholes is paying lip service with what Mein Ferguson and 'Camel Goebbels' instructed him to say.
I know a few match going United fans and whilst they admit beating city means much, much more than what it used to, they still enjoy beating Liverpool more.
I wouldn't take it as though they see you as meaningless, as clearly its a huge game and, to an extent, it always has been. But the whole history of the rivalry, just because Liverpool have fallen away recently, hasn't deteriorated one bit in their eyes.
Who knows, if they get to 20 and somehow manage to win a few more European cups, whilst at the same time City start to pick up trophy after trophy, it may change.
On the flip side, I'm sure there's a few out there who see you as the biggest rivalry ATM, which is understandable. I just don't get why people think they're all talking bollocks when they still tag Liverpool as there biggest rivals
and get wound up about it when interviewers post them the question.
