Why does it matter to you lads so much that they hate us more? :D it's not exactly a big deal, like.

Anyway: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.redcafe.net/f6/rivalry-matters-more-you-city-liverpool-364717/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.redcafe.net/f6/rivalry-matte ... ol-364717/</a> the majority there share Scholes' view. Hope we stuff 'em on Sunday of course.

Eh? la.

See a manyoo match going fan and ask him the same question. The hurt is still there. It ripped them apart.

See how they celebrate against us. See how they try to belittle us the 50 out of 52 weeks when they don't play you.

Scholes is paying lip service with what Mein Ferguson and 'Camel Goebbels' instructed him to say.

Lets just say you would be dissapointed.
Anyway something for you.
Sturridge says Liverpool are the biggest club in England-could be.
Liverpool v utd bigger than City v Utd- could be.

I know a few match going United fans and whilst they admit beating city means much, much more than what it used to, they still enjoy beating Liverpool more.

I wouldn't take it as though they see you as meaningless, as clearly its a huge game and, to an extent, it always has been. But the whole history of the rivalry, just because Liverpool have fallen away recently, hasn't deteriorated one bit in their eyes.

Who knows, if they get to 20 and somehow manage to win a few more European cups, whilst at the same time City start to pick up trophy after trophy, it may change.

On the flip side, I'm sure there's a few out there who see you as the biggest rivalry ATM, which is understandable. I just don't get why people think they're all talking bollocks when they still tag Liverpool as there biggest rivals and get wound up about it when interviewers post them the question.

They don't. But it doesn't bother me what their fans think, or say.

Good Luck at the weekend. You were robbed at Anfield

It wouldn't surprise me if you get a point. Hopefully Vidic plays. He is so slow now, Suarez will make mincemeat of him

Wound up? WTF are you on about?

I posted how I see it.

Spar only had strawberry cornettos today and no chocolate ones, that made my pulse rise slightly though.

Liverpool fan here, the thing that worries me about the Utd game is that we have no Enrique or Kelly which means we will have to play a youth player or Downing against either Valencia or Young :(

The more likely scenario is Suarez will get hacked down and Webb will book him for diving and get sent off, that or he will have a perfectly good goal disallowed when he scores and the utd players all shout handball at Webb and the linesman.

I'm not saying we are their biggest rivals in the mind of every United fan, but to the majority there is no doubt we are. I know a dozen or so Man Utd fans and they all hate us more than they do City. They despise Leeds as much as they do City in the case of a few.

Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things. Right now the two manc clubs are the best two teams in the country by a distance, and I won't deny I'm jealous and am desperate as fuck for us to get back up there some time in the relatively near future.

I'm happy City won the title last season, like. If we can help you out (as well as ourselves obviously haha) on Sunday then fantastic. Anything to stop them winning the title while we're a 'sleeping giant'. Don't want them to get too far ahead of us, like.

Suarez should have too much for Vidic if he plays, Vidic tends to stuggle with strikers of his ilk. Sturridge could be a factor, he's definitely a goal threat and we will need to be clinical. We bossed their midfield in September but the harsh Shelvey red card gave them a massive boost at an important moment. Even if we can control the midfield on Sunday it'll be difficult unless we take our chances. van Persie and Hernandez are probably the two most clinical strikers in the Premier League.
