I'm surprised by moyes' comments about the mata signing, "I'm thrilled. I got wind a month or so ago that it could be a possibility. I never really believed I'd pull it off. Congratulations to the club and Ed Woodward for getting it done." He's a decent enough player but looking at that you'd think they'd just signed Messi. It really doesn't appear to have sunk in with him that he isn't Everton manager anymore.
Just a load of spin. You or I could have done that business.

I have never heard a manager congratulating the CEO and the club publicly over doing the basics of their job. I sense a smell of fear on Moyes part that he will have to suck a lot of cock if he wants to keep his job

Also, what kind of manager says 'I never thought we'd pull it off' ? It is supposed to be the worlds greatest/biggest club and yet their manager doesn't think he had a chance of signing a bench warmer openly touted by his manager ! Every time Moyes opens his gob he damages our Save Dave campaign.

They want everyone :)

They know how to give their fans false hope. Give Mata the 8 shirt so they think someone bigger is coming to fill the number 7.

Actually sky are quoting it as "I never believed I'd pull it off"
We all know it wasn't you wee Davey, stop telling porkies.

I said to a rag mate - a decent one - at work this morning, "So if Mata is worth £37 million, do you reckon Silva is worth £50 million?"

"Yes," was his reply.

that rossell gets investigated for fiddling, what about these bastards? they must laugh their bollocks off everytime an ex rag gets a job in the prem

They managed to get MONEY yes fucking MONEY for fabio? how bent is that?

They also got a loan fee beleived to be £1.5 mill!!! for the fastest feet in the west! zaha hasn't fucking played more than 10 minutes, and they get all that for him?

ITs like that scene in the steptoe film where harold goes out to buy a horse and bumps into frankie, the local gangster, who plies harold with booze and he goes home pissed, with a fucking greyhound!

I can see gill and ferguson getting ole gunner round for a wine evening, and him waking up in the morning stuck with fucking fabio!

Remember robson buying all their tossers for years? MARK WILSON!!!!! they paid a few million for that ****! now they have brucie and solksjaer, its unbelievable

Seriously think about it, look at all the wankers they hoave sold for millions! fraser fucking campbell £6m!!!!

A journalist brought up a good point about how the Mata signing shows how clueless Moyes is. In the summer he was offered the best 10 in the world. Yet he refused to sign him, because they had Kagawa and Rooney. Less than 6 months later he goes and overspends on a no 10 in Mata. Ferguson set him up with the perfect excuse to get rid of Rooney in the summer. Instead he decides to keep him and now Rooney has United over a barrel and is going to paid an extortionate amount or leave cheaply in the summer.

Sell Rooney, buy Ozil would have saved all this trouble. Rooney can no longer play 10 and Kagawa, whilst being a good player is not really good enough for such a key position at United. Kagawa is very good, but he is not Ozil, Oscar, Silva or Mata.

Just remind him that whilst every club has a London supporters branch, theirs is by far the biggest, and most other clubs fans at least have a connection to the area of the club they support, unlike them tossers.

just send him this and then tell him to do one
