Interesting piece of journalism from The Times quoted earlier. I may have been tempted to write it like this:

"A series of departures is likely, with Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic set to leave when their contracts expire at the end of the season."

As previously stated Rooney`s people have offered him to City this season and they were immediately rebuffed. MCFC want nothing to do with him after he welched on the deal a couple of years ago.

On another note £37 million is mad, around £20 million would have got this guy who is better:
