The media know about as much as you or I..........jacks**t.

All of this, "...a source close to the club" guff proves it.

And you are not telling me that all the player talk about who they are allegedly signing is not a way to boost ticket sales as well?

Their defence is their major issue. Not a chance they will get Hummels, so it will be interesting if they go with Smalling, Evans and Jones next year, plus maybe one other (who knows...who cares?!?).

Lets see Louey work his magic to make them top notch players. Maybe get Paul Daniels in with Debbie?
If they go without any defensive signings they are going to be fucled next year.

Rafael - OK going forward, red card waiting to happen defensively (apart from they almost never get red cards)
Evans - Mid table CB, Shawcross level at best
Smalling - not as good as Evans
Jones - Maybe a decent CB hiding in there if he ever gets a decent run as CB - never going to be a Vidic or Wio though
Evra - too old (now 33), too slow and now too lazy also
Buttner - waste of money

Cleverly, Fellaini - Defensive mids, hahahaha
Carrick - decent but immobile and now 32
Fletcher - OK if fit, not top class though
Attacking mids/wingers - pretty good to be fair (potentially in some cases), Kagawa, Mata, Jizjaz, Nani, Young, Valencia
Strikers - 2 top class - Rooney, RvP. 1 decent Chickpea, 1 waste of space - Welbeck

The only system that remotely suits them is a 4-2-3-1 but they don't really have the midfielders for the '2'. They'll also struggle with the number 10 position as Kagawa, Mata and Rooney all want to be in there, RvP pretty much only plays as a central striker

They'll still roll over a lot of the PL dross with their attacking line-up but that defence will see them keep getting turned over by some teams they'd be expected to beat. Against top teams (top 6) they will struggle big time

I'd say they need a top LB, RB, CB, Top Def mid (who can pass) and maybe a LW. If RvP has another injury wrecked season they'll also regret it if they don't sign a top striker. They'd better start spending their £300m quickly :)

£160k per week for Shaw according the MUEN. Unbelievable Jeff if true.

According to the press he deserves such a huge wage for to not putting money ahead of history. Which is fair enough given he came through the academy.

The rags have announced a sponsorship deal with a company called Cho-A Pharm who are now their (wait for it) "official pharmaceuticals partner in South Korea and Vietnam". I bet Wio's wishing he could have stayed on.

Well they've no chance in the North Korean market now, get in there City! ;-)
No-one gets into North Korea. Or if they do, they don't get out again!

So 27m for an 18 year old left back, but noooooooooooooooooooo rags aren't inflating transfer market for teenagers they are offering him a chance to play for the biggest club in the world and its their own money, it isn't oil money the fact it goes against the idea that through FFP transfer fees would moderate doesn't seem to have filtered down to the rags. Oh and he will be on 160K a week well there is no chance that they are trying to buy there way back into CL footie is there and of course the press will say they are investing in English talent rather than pushing up and inflating wages. These cunts were the ones mentioning a wage cap when we were having to buy decent players to get into the CL.

Where is all the outrage from the press, none, because it is their beloved rags and soon Shaw will have come out of their academy as Rooney did all those years ago.

I hope that club crash and burn even further. :-)

For all their criticisms of us, no club has inflated the market more times than United. Most British transfer records (5). First ever £50,000/week player in England. First ever £300,000/week player in England. £30m fees in 2002 that still look huge today even before being put through an inflation adjustment calculator.

They hide behind their weak clichés and buzzwords/phrases ("The United Way", etc.) to make themselves feel better, but United have no high ground at all to stand on. Some are actually starting to see it since the ruthless sacking of Moyes and their desperate attempts to sign any big or emerging star in Europe with eye-watering wage packages. Luke Shaw will earn more than Kompany and Silva if that Goal story is true.
