Why don't we just concentrate on City. United are a fucking good side albeit with a shit defence and midfield-Can't be that shit can it,they won the frigging league last year.
RVP hasn't been injured for ages now so why do people keep saying it is going to happen. We win our games and we will be champions. I am looking fwd to see how they do next week against Chelsea but to say they are declining is really a little bit premature.
The fact that this is a United thread allows me to comment and post about them.(without feeling guilty)
The fact that this is a United thread allows*you to post and comment about them*.(the irony)
Whether you care to admit it or not, RVP is the difference. Without him in their side United wouldn't....(fill in as appropriate) I'm not making this up, honest. But 1 player can make all the difference. Examples being. Kompany missing for us last season, Suarez missing for Liverpool this season, Bale missing for Spurs now, etc. (Un)Fortunately United have a long history of such players. Best, Law, Charlton, Robson, keane, Cantona, Ronaldo, Rooney, and now RVP. For whatever reason United always seem find and buy those kind of players.
As for this perceived injury that hasn't happened yet. Yes, you're right. However, the PL is 9 months long, and at any point within that 9 months RVP could get injured, or his goals could dry up. And yes, the opposite is also true. (fingers crossed)
Let me put this on record. I've never stated United aren't a *good f***ing side*. They are a f***ing good side, unfortunately.(arrrgh!) However, People, City fans, and football fans in general are allowed to feel a little optimistic about United faltering this season. There are numerous reasons, but the biggest is Sir retiring. End of.
Like the majority I don't think United will go away. Unfortunately they will always cast a shadow over City and the other PL clubs. However, that shadows isn't as long as it used to be.
Thank you. :-)
