Is it correct that shrek's contract stipulates that he must be the highest-paid player at the swamp?

I.e. if another player arrives and his salary is higher than shrek's, the granny-shagger's own salary increases to keep pace with the new arrival?

[quoteHe's doing a decent job there but his Brighton team were just the same, diving and falling about all over the place trying to get you sent off. He's also a fucking annoying monkey faced **** who I would never tire of punch][/quote]

Fucking hell. They just don't see it, do they!

August = Fellaini January = Mata (possibly)

Fellaini hasn't been missed by Everton; indeed, they've improved since he's gone. Mata isn't wanted by Mourinho and hasn't been missed by Chelsea this season. I can't believe the silly bastard will sign for the rags on the basis of 'improving his chances' of getting to the World Cup finals.

Do I detect a pattern? Panic buys to placate the 497 Trillion loyal supporters.

Moyes hasn't got a clue. The gift that keeps giving.

They'll finish no higher than 7th and the shares will be worth shit all. Take your medicine you red bastards.

I heard that if the rags don't make top 4, there's a clause in shreks contract that his wages drop 15%.

OOF

Think a few players will have parity clauses. I have heard wio has one so if he and shriek have one you can be sure RVP does as well.

I'd say Yaya would have one as well.

I heard there were a handful who had so-called parity clauses, that they would be on a par with the highest paid. That's why their wage bill started to shoot up after 2010 and why they are so determined to get it back under control. Although I believe most if not all the other players (apart from Rooney) with that clause will have gone this summer.

Sure they'll still leak goals but they haven't been the best in the attacking third either. I have a feeling this signing will encourage the Dutch Skunk to cease pretending to be injured and get back on the pitch. When you have a strike-force of Rooney and RVP supplied by such a man as Juan Mata, you can afford to play 'go ahead, score against against us, we'll score more' and attempt to make top four that way. It's how Arsenal did it a couple seasons back and they just about managed to pull it off.

Then again, we had Wenger and as you say, they have Wee Davey (bless his soul), so maybe I shouldn't worry so.

You seem overly obsessed with them signing Mata.

United have always played with wingers firing cross after cross in and eventually, some get put in. I don't understand why they've signed a creative midfielder because they've never played that way. They won't change the system to accommodate Mata. He'll either have to play wide left or right and maybe on occasion, the 2nd striker. Like they do with Kagawa.

And look what's happened to him since gollum pitched up!

Exactly. Wasn't he player of the year in the Bundesliga before he tipped up at United?

And now they've been ripped off buying another player in the same mould.

Absolutely ludicrous to make that purchase when their defence is as dodgy as Jimmy Savile with the keys to the children's home.

Forty million on one player is an awful lot of money to end a season trophy less. The Rags are panicking

£67.5 million for two...............good job they've actually come up through the academy and they're not 'buying the title'

Who's the other one?
