Sad to see, but I guess they were never going to fall in just one season. With Mata they now have a fearsome front attack and promising young defenders. The only saving grace is that Moyes is still manager. If they get say Klopp then things look very bad indeed.

Adebayor and Sherwood are the only two people that can stop them for me. Adebayor is going to have play like he has been doing for the rest of the season. Only then might Tottenham pip them to fourth.
Promising young defenders?

could this **** put anymore pressure on wee davey

Haha use everyone's first name then the last name Mata to make it fit. It should be swarj.

What he forgot to mention is that Moyes is still the Manager.

It's one thing having the players, it's another thing using them properly.

They were giddy in work today. They honestly think Mata is the game changer for them.

Well they can all sit round and have a wank over it this weekend, while we'll be out watching
another fantatic game of football.

I know people don't agree with me, but I personally rate De Gea, Rafael and Jones. Jones a bit of a liability at the moment, but has a lot of potential. Smalling and Evans certainly have decent potential and Vidic cannot have lost it in half a season.

It should put pressure on him, because he has inherited the current champions and had 70 million spent improving them.

dont get why people think them signing mata is huge, there midfield is piss poor, defensively they are appalling, and the likes of Rooney and RVP are not happy, that United team needs a huge amount of investment, and they won't get it, especially if they don't finish in the top four.
Because Mata is really, really good. For me he is in the same class as Silva, but actually better suited to United than Silva. Silva gives you sustained control and is always involved in the build up, but Mata probably creates and scores more.

I have said that RVP was not happy right from the start of the season, but it does not matter anymore. The Dutch players have a world cup to win. They narrowly lost out last time and their key players are motivated as can be. Sneijder has finally decided to start playing again etc. RVP will be focused on getting his form for the world cup. He won't give a fig about Moyes or United, but will try just to keep his form up.

I know as City fans we are prone to over exaggerate, but this United side is shite. Smalling, ffs, he's all arms and legs and
little football nous. As for Vidic, he can't lose what he's never had. ever since he came back from injury. Great defender before,
but injury came at the wrong time for him age wise. IMO.

I'm sure you think you're Adrian Durham and come on here to play devils advocate. Or is it, I know I'm bored, i'll
go and tease the City lads on the United thread.

Evans is 26, he is what he is, an average PL centre back, at the top 4 level no more than a useful back-up.

Smalling is 24 and is very inconsistent, has one good game and then five bloody awful ones.

Jones should have been played in what is his best position (CB) for the last 3 years, instead United have used him as a fill-in utility player, which IMO has just hampered his development.

De Gea has ability but is too prone to the sort of lapse he made against Sunderland.

Rafael is just a ****.

With mata they will beat the poor teams now but will still struggle against top teams

They've already beaten poor teams, like Norwich, Stoke and Wet Spam.

So what's going to change?

Look at there home record this season unprecedented if they had mata for those games they would of won
