With mata they will beat the poor teams now but will still struggle against top teams

They've already beaten poor teams, like Norwich, Stoke and Wet Spam.

So what's going to change?

Look at there home record this season unprecedented if they had mata for those games they would of won

You cannot say that for sure. Your opinion. We'll see how they play now.

I know people don't agree with me, but I personally rate De Gea, Rafael and Jones. Jones a bit of a liability at the moment, but has a lot of potential. Smalling and Evans certainly have decent potential and Vidic cannot have lost it in half a season.
Behave. If I were a rag, I'd have panic attacks every time Jones went near the ball. As for Rafael, he's a red card waiting to happen. As for Vidic, he's getting slow now, and he's injury prone. Evra is past it. Smalling and Evans? Seriously? As for Krispy Kreme; he's had a good season to be fair, but that goal he threw in the other night. The old saying about throwing your cap on it springs to mind. I wouldn't swap any of our (admittedly dodgy at times) defence for any of theirs.

could this **** put anymore pressure on wee davey

It should put pressure on him, because he has inherited the current champions and had 70 million spent improving them.

I know as City fans we are prone to over exaggerate, but this United side is shite. Smalling, ffs, he's all arms and legs and
little football nous. As for Vidic, he can't lose what he's never had. ever since he came back from injury. Great defender before,
but injury came at the wrong time for him age wise. IMO.

I'm sure you think you're Adrian Durham and come on here to play devils advocate. Or is it, I know I'm bored, i'll
go and tease the City lads on the United thread.
I hate United as much as any average City fan I would bet my life on it. From them stopping us winning the cup, to the Cantona kick, to having to put up with glory hunting fans who know nothing about football all my life, going on about MANU when they have never been to Old Trafford. Very few things in football would I rather see than United fall. By very few I mean less than 5.

I like City and this is a great board for talking about football. In fact I hardly post about United. I post a lot more about the Bundesliga or other teams.

The problem is too many people here are blinded by their hatred of United and vastly underrate their players. This only hurts when they come back to win stuff. I hate Arsenal almost as much and was enjoying their downfall, but when they signed Ozil I said everything had changed and they would now be a force again. Bad teams don't win the Premiership. I verge on pessimism and for me it's better to accept the inevitable.

The fact is that not even the most deluded of rags has said they are only one signing from being sorted. Whatever his system or football philosophy, if Mata was great Jose would have played him every game. Hopefully the first of many false dawns for the rags on the way to a few decades of turgid football.

Mata- the new aquilani?

United imo without rooney and RVP are around Newcastle's level.
Even with them this season they have not done great.

They are by no means terrible but they are not that good either.
If Newcastle played utd with the squads in the shape they are now they would (imo ofc) win at least 5 out of 10.
