The tide turned when we beat them in the semi at Wembley. Last season was a freak storm.

I remember thinking exactly the same on that day

I had the same conversation with our kid on the way back home from the final v Stoke. You could tell from their disgraceful behaviour on the pitch at the end of the game that we had seriously hurt them.......they KNEW we were better than them.

Cue the three games the following season, especially the 'come back' in the FA cup,.........they knew we were better than them. Even though Bacon threw everything at it to wrestle the title back last season, in the 2 league games we were the better side.

They have stood still and we have strengthened, both on and off the pitch. The worm has well and truly turned.

On a side note, I had a text from an old mate who is a rag, after today's game..........

rag..........'go on then, start gloating'
me........about what?
rag........this weekend's games and our result
me.........no point, you're not a relevance to us any more

I haven't heard anything since for some strange reason :-)

Listening to 606 tonight and it was an hour an a half of absolute Gold. I'd urge any blue to download the podcast. Ian Wright was big time on the wind up and some of the callers wanted Steve Bruce or Ryan Giggs to takeover with immediate effect.

Too many highlights to mention but I was laughing despite myself finding me wanting them to win (Whatever is best for City in my eyes)

I heard the guy who wanted Steve Bruce. Bloody lucky I wasn't sat on a chair or I'd have fallen straight off it.

I could have been killed RVP style by a dummy flying from the radio

I think the first caller was danny from leeds,rang up two weeks ago after the Swansea defeat,really defiant and pro moyes,get behind the fella he was preaching,we`re man utd and we don`t change our managers like Chelsea or city,he`ll get it right mark my words...
fast forward two weeks and the same danny from leeds rings in and yep you`ve guessed it....get moyes out he`s useless....
I nearly spat my brew all over the place,oh the laughter literally made my sides split...
karma is a beautiful thing...

That's the one. His Yorkshire style rant about Moyes was a thing of beauty :o)

I loved the guy who came on and was demanding a 'Manchester man' to takeover, when asked who... the name Bruce came up Ha Ha

You can see Schmeichel hurting on MOTD 2, proper tears in the eyes. If Vidic got a red for that tackle David Luiz deserves a red for the push on Valencia. You could not make this up
