out of curiosity, if they did indeed manage to cling on to 4th spot and qualify for next seasons corrupt, i mean champions league, which pot would they go into??

not a pot but staright to the final just in case.
agreed mate, despite failing to qualify from the group, getting dicked home and away in the last 16, losing both legs in the quarter and semi final, our french friend will see that they get to the final

More likely David bloody Gill will use his new-found influence!

they'd probably make a special pot 0 for clubs with "history"

Things are changing, never under bacon face would any player be banned under the circumstances Evans has been!

On a side note, I was getting it of a rag today in a pub in Salford about our empty seats (aparantly we have only built the new stand for concerts), my response:

'who would have thought 10 years ago that the only thing a united fan would have over a blue would be attendances'?

ha ha

I think this season has made me realise I was wrong and very in my opinion of Moyes. I was laughing at how bad he was, but I think this season had gone a long way to restore his reputation.

If it was just down to the manager then the players would have done better since. However just look at how bad they have done. It's not even just the ones at United like Rooney, Evans, Jones, Smalling or RVP. The ones that have left have been abysmal this year. Cleverly, Kagawa, Ferdinanad, Vidic (by reports), Fabio (by reports) and Welbeck have been pathetic. Apart from maybe Welbeck I honestly would not take the rest if they offered to play at Palace for free.

Then we have the abject season Everton are having.

Was listening to a Wenger interview where he said that he would leave the next manager in a strong position. Ferguson on the other hand left Moyes a broken destroyed team, which had nothing left. Credit to those who immediately saw what Ferguson had left; I was completely wrong.

Top post!

Bacon face got out when the going was good, I would bet my mortgage that he would have left in 11/12 if Sergio didn't score and united won it. but his ego wouldn't allow him to quit with us as Champions. (if it was any team with a manager who kissed his arse that won it that year then he would have gone, but not little old Cithe)!

instead he took one last gamble, signed Van Persie and threw all his eggs in one basket and it paid off. that plus our squad being in utter disseray through Manchini and others meant they won the league by 11 points, but we were still the better team that season and they know it!

I happily hold my hands up and admit Ferguson left United in a much worse state than I was thought. I was wrong and you were right.

As for Pellegrini though I think he is a good guy, but I have never been his biggest fan so nothing this season is proving me wrong on that front.

United star Angel Di Maria looks set for a move away after the Prestbury mansion where he lives went up for sale for a staggering £4.1m.

The home is up for grabs just a month after the 26-year-old suffered a ‘terrifying raid’ while inside with his family.

The Argentinian international was reportedly watching TV with his wife, Jorgelina, and children as crooks tried in vain to smash through his patio doors.

The would-be thieves fled empty-handed after triggering an alarm system.

Di Maria and his family moved into a luxury hotel after the incident with round-the-clock security keeping them safe.

They now look set to move away for good, with the luxury mansion up for sale.

The advert states: “Magnificent mansion set in well-manicured grounds in the heart of Prestbury on a private road.

“Indoor swimming pool with glass panels into the sitting room and hallway which truly envelopes the pool into the heart of the house.”

I think plug had it in his head all along that he'd go to the rags for a year and let psg get some cash and come back for him next season...
He quite obviously can't stand being there, how can a player of Di marias calibre go from world class to dog and duck standard in a heartbeat.?
turtlehead has worked wonders by turning Falcao into a headless chicken and dI maria into gerry creaney...
The Dutch Pulis must not be sacked....
