People thinking united are financially fucked if they don't qualify for Eurpoe are failing to factor in the money that's flooding into the Premier League more generally. That will offset any shortfall. united are still big box office and they'll definitely be able to ride another season out of Europe imo. Their turnover projections of 2-3 years ago will still be exceeded, such is the uplift in TV money.

Now AC Milan, that's a different story.....

United star Angel Di Maria looks set for a move away after the Prestbury mansion where he lives went up for sale for a staggering £4.1m.

The home is up for grabs just a month after the 26-year-old suffered a ‘terrifying raid’ while inside with his family.

The Argentinian international was reportedly watching TV with his wife, Jorgelina, and children as crooks tried in vain to smash through his patio doors.

The would-be thieves fled empty-handed after triggering an alarm system.

Di Maria and his family moved into a luxury hotel after the incident with round-the-clock security keeping them safe.

They now look set to move away for good, with the luxury mansion up for sale.

The advert states: “Magnificent mansion set in well-manicured grounds in the heart of Prestbury on a private road.

“Indoor swimming pool with glass panels into the sitting room and hallway which truly envelopes the pool into the heart of the house.”

Seriously, a fourteen year old could have written that cliche riddled pile of utter wank masquerading as an item of news.
