While last season was a joy for us we knew they would keep on spunking money at it until they improved, while looking at helping to bend the rules to widen that gap again to ensure it stays that way forever. They haven't suffered enough yet they need at least ten years of failure,at least!

A couple of points I'd pick up on here Paul.

Firstly, I agree that the intention is that the gap should remain that way forever. However, nothing remains the same forever and whatever they do to stay at the top will one day come back to haunt them but, more importantly, they don't need ten years of failure to suffer. They're already suffering.

Imagine the fear that must have led to the spending of quarter of a billion pounds to catch us up; imagine the fear that led them to display that banner for so many years; imagine the fear that led them to promote hastily drawn up rules to stop anyone else investing in their club; imagine the fear that means they have to put tehir "people" into every corner of every governing body to protect their interest.

Their whole edifice is constructed on fear and you see it in their fans' eyes. You can see it in the outpourings of their sycophants in the media. They have to win and to do that they have to to be the richest club and their biggest fear, the fear they have to live with every day of their sorry, sad lives is the fear of failure. As I have said before, our success has shown that there is nothing special about United, Arsenal and Liverpool. They are small-minded clubs with money driven by fear.

We've climbed from the bottom of the pile to the top of the mountain. We have nothing to fear. We've done it already, we can do it again. And the beauty of it is, knowing that makes them even more afraid.

Post of the season...
WA, if I have the privilege of ever meeting you I will buy you a pint, as this sums the whole damn thing up...

"We don't surround the ref"

Van Gaal's post match interview was an embarrassment, talk about a meltdown.

Well apparently they are nailed on for next years title according to ragcaf

seems dominating game on possession should be a pre-emphasis on where the title goes next year LOL

Some of them think they're on their way to winning the league. I hope today gave them a kick in the face and a dose of reality.

They are deluded.

Chelsea played for the efficient 1-0. It was a typical Mourinho performance seeing out the game. John Terry bossing it..

Chelsea let them have the ball and said to them "come and break us down" all that people will remember is the result..
