I think this season has made me realise I was wrong and very in my opinion of Moyes. I was laughing at how bad he was, but I think this season had gone a long way to restore his reputation.

If it was just down to the manager then the players would have done better since. However just look at how bad they have done. It's not even just the ones at United like Rooney, Evans, Jones, Smalling or RVP. The ones that have left have been abysmal this year. Cleverly, Kagawa, Ferdinanad, Vidic (by reports), Fabio (by reports) and Welbeck have been pathetic. Apart from maybe Welbeck I honestly would not take the rest if they offered to play at Palace for free.

Then we have the abject season Everton are having.

Was listening to a Wenger interview where he said that he would leave the next manager in a strong position. Ferguson on the other hand left Moyes a broken destroyed team, which had nothing left. Credit to those who immediately saw what Ferguson had left; I was completely wrong.

Why do you think we campaigned so hard for Moyes to stay ? We know a suitable United manager when we see one.
That's exactly the point. If it was just Moyes then after 150 million spent you would expect a big improvement. Instead the team are only slightly better and are probably unlikely to get fourth.

Whilst half of the squad of last season are relegation fodder.

RVP who carried them to the title seems to be finished as well.

Moyes did a poor job, but it's not quite as bad as it looked. If he does a good job at Sociedad would like to see him get another chance at a CL club.

I still hate gollum.

All the ranting he did over the Joleon Lescott transfer was bad enough, but to bring it up again, two years later, I think it was, in his programme notes for our trip to Goodison, just shows what a small-minded wanker he is.

He and the STCs in Stretford were well suited to each other.

Interesting that a lot of utd fans blame ferguson for the last 2 seasons, fair enough for the moyes term but van gaal has spent a fortune and i think this is a worse team. They have soon forgot his comments about not spending big and promoting youth, the rent a quote wanker.

Cant wait for them to miss out on the top four at the end of the year. Financially it will cripple them.

I dont know about that. They are probably getting a delta of around 30-40 million with their new Adidas deal, I am assuming that Europa will allow them to get at least a third of what they used to get for the CL attendances. SO they will probably be better off next season compared to the current one. Unless they have their debt called, in which case yeah they'll be in big trouble

What is more important is that their missing on CL will mean that we are closer to parity in terms of revenue to them (new deals this season plus greater CL money)

moyes was stitched up good and proper.

I'd be very, very, very pissed off if they get top 4. We should be ashamed to only be 5 points above that load of crap.

They'll get fuck all extra from the Adidas deal if they aren't playing Champions League football.
