They built this myth about the ''Theatre of dreams'' and doing things the right way,the United way and all that bollocks.That was all well and good when they had all the clout and could buy all the best players,as soon as Chelsea and then us could compete that started scrambling around whining and backing FFP to keep them at the top.

Then we had the Moyes fiasco where they didn't even give the poor sod a season,in spite of knowing about 6 players were over the hill,no longer up to it and would need replacing.

They will have a better season under turtle head because he has been allowed to spend big money and he is a better manager.They have no Europe to distract them either.I wouldn't say it is a cert they will be right back at the top though,turtle head is abrasive and i can see fall out's behind the scenes.It will be interesting and what a laugh if they stutter in spite of the easy start they have been gifted.

My house mate continually says stuff like...

I replay with asking him why several players have jumped ship to Spain, e.g Ronaldo?
Or why other clubs have broken sponsorship records in the past?

It really does make me piss myself when united fans start wanking off to the size of their club's sponsorship deals ffs. It's more than a little pathetic when you think about it.

It's the 21st century equivalent to having the biggest pitch or the tallest floodlights, maybe.

Maybe a bit off topic but just had the unfortunate experience on the last train to Buxton, I was getting off at Hazel Grove of about 20+ utd arseholes singing all the way home on the train, couldn't put up with it any longer so had to stand up to them when one of them came for me as we were just about to get off the train my Mrs clouted him one round the lug hole, is it no wonder everybody hates them.
