LvG saying they don't need new players, if this is the squad they have next season they won't make top four.

Season tickets sold out = spending over. Just like every year.

The £200 million war chest was just as much bullshit as Moyes saying last summer the rags would be bringing in the world's best players and there was no limit to their spending. In his case they got snubbed by every traget until panic set in and he paid way over the odds for A&E 5 minutes before the transfer window shut.

The more the expectation level rises the more I'm liking it. Recently I've seen some rag shirts while out and about for the first time since the turn of the year. The more rag PR propaganda bullshit they fall for the giddier they'll get and the higher their expectations will go. With their opening fixtures all against relegation fodder while the top teams play each other the rags should be top of the PL after 6-8 games which will send their fans' expectations even higher. When they come up against better teams and their back line gets ripped a new one week after week the fall to earth will be even more painful. Can't wait.

He needs min 3 good team players to make his system work and he knows it.

If Vermaelen and Blind are their only remaining signings I'll be very happy, not much chance of top 4 if they have to start at least two of Smalling, Evans and Jones in the back three.
