I'll make another reasoned prediction: they'll become the new Arsenal, in that 4th will be their league title. People will moan and so on and so forth but ultimately the Glazers will be content with the Champions League football and the continued money milking opportunities.

On the nail mate.

The USA kids will be doing a balancing act.

After an initial chunk of trophies partly due to luck/selling the silver & Old Baconfaces pull the best they will get is 4th with the occasional 3rd if one of the regular top 3 balls it up.

It's all about outlay for return and there's no value in spending £100m to move up one place

They will regain some of their respect by having the disciplinarian of Turtle Head and I am sure he will have them organised and able to defend. I suspect in many ways he will have the same impact on the rags as Mancini did with us. Whether the high wage earners at the swamp will take to him the jury is out and hopefully the improvement (there just has to be) on the pitch will be cancelled out by the shinanigans off it.

I will judge that lot around Christmas time when half the fixtures have gone.

I actually rate Evans, Carrick, the new spanish kid, and their forwards (including Kagawa and Mata). Rafael isn't a bad player either.
When Jones and Smalling are in the same team though, they both look really poor.

If they don't bring anybody else in they are absolutely thread bare in midfield and defence even if they don't bother with domestic cups.


Oh, and I can't wait to see Ashley Young play Left Back in the Prem.

This is spot on - The Glazers Jnr will just look to keep taking their annual wage - if keep wafting about the imaginary warchest and buying the odd player allows them to sell bits off in the USA in the way they have so as not to actually dilute their control over the club they will be happy. There's enough rags keep buying this shite to keep S/T sales up for now and their track record in the US shows they are all about managing the cash flow so I reckon they will be happy on a diet of 4th or 3rd place and bullshitting the fans

And yes Arsenal have got away with this garbage too which is why Wenger is getting so uppity - the cozy SKY 4 monopoly is falling to bits right when the cash is getting really big - everything the 4 worked for and thy might not be the 4 who benefits hahaha
