I simply do not care who they sign because there overall squad will still be nowhere near as good as ours.
Sanchez has apparently said he is going nowhere and wants to stay in La Liga.
Sorry but Herrera,Shaw are good signings but world class...hahhahaha fucking never.

Sounds like their getting Vermaelan too next but they need all the help they can to get back in contention. With Uncle Malcs demise and the drop in Utd share price I wouldn't be surprised if Malc's boys have told Woodward and Vadge that they want the league title this coming season and it's the reason they are again driving the debt up. They will have seen what the Scousers nearly achieved and think they can emulate this by throwing money at the problem.

The thing is they may not win the title next season and then the fun will start, because the manager will want more money to replace aging players and the circle will begin again. Utd aren't just competing with us though because Chelsea are also in the mix and if Wenger ever strengthens his defence and attacking options then they too could have a chance at the title. Spurs and the scousers will also be trying to take fourth spot, so really it's shit or bust for Utd.

With City it's different, if we don't win a trophy it would be disappointing but we will keep trying to improve, the Academy will unearth a few talents in coming seasons and our owners will make us self sufficient in the long term. It would be disappointing if we didn't win any trophies but we are realistic enough to know that we can't win every trophy every season, as nice at it would be if we could. Evn dropping out of the top four for season or two would see us respond and get back challenging at the very top. The FFP thing is a hiccup along the way but the other clubs cannot survive or compete if we don't put money in the market this is something else UEFA haven't considered when limiting our spending.

So next season could be bad for the scum if they don't win the league and if they don't make top four then that will be hard even for them to sweep under the carpet, however for City life goes on, a stronger squad, a manager who is calm and has now added major trophies to his CV, and all the pressure on the biggest spenders across the Trafford border, and with equal pressure on Jose from Chelsea's oligarch too. Should be an interesting season.

Quite obvious really,Gill and uefa have together clipped city's wings this summer and so are firmly moving in on top quality targets, after a world cup too, hope we can improve ourselves cos the rags are.
Far too early to panic...

This
Stop being a fanny,we are the defending champions and we will defend it whatever anyone else does

Ex-fucking-actly!

People need to remember that we've now got the best owner in the league and, in my opinion, are the best run club in the league. The owners, Khaldoon, the Two Amigos and Pelly are completely unflappable and are undoubtedly constantly looking way beyond the next campaign.

So folks, chill the fuck out. Whilst the rags are chasing their tails and getting all giddy, our club is looking at the long game and ensuring that we consolidate our place at the top table. We have no need to overhaul the squad. Just need to add cover and make a minor tweak or two. Trust the guys and gals in charge and take your flapping to the transfer forum ;)

We made hard work of winning the league last season with some very poor performances against clubs we should have been beating at a canter, we have the best squad by a country mile and a team that has already gelled and playing great football with a great team spirit, that's something you cant buy..! City will win the League again this season, of that I am 100% certain, even with the injuries and loss of form by key players last season we prevailed.. The Blue Moon has risen and its shining very fucking brightly over the swamp and over the main contenders above the top 7.. !!

While I agree we were poor in some of our games, the players had to adjust to a completely different set of tactics.

It couldn't have been easy for them to adapt from Mancini's defensively-based system to Pellegrini's much more attacking style. In fact, it was plain to see in some of the early games last season that this was the case.

Even in our last two defeats, there were extenuating circumstances. Against Chelsea, we were missing Agüero, Nasri, Fernandinho and Garcia, which meant that Martin Demichelis, who hadn't really settled into the team at that time, had to play as a defensive midfielder.

And against the mourners, Clattenbent gave one of the worst refereeing displays ever and bottled three chances to show chewy the second yellow he deserved.

Once the team learnt how Pellers wanted them to play, we were pretty much unstoppable.

And the attitude that we should be beating teams at a canter, is some of the problem in matches lost. For example Wigan twice, nearly Watford and the likes of Cardiff and Villa. Some of the players attitudes those days were to just turn up and we would win. We, as a club, cannot take anything for granted. Whilst we should beat these teams on paper, anyone can beat anyone - and I always expect the worst with City ;)

If they get Hummels or Vidal, somethings amiss.

FFP? Buying the league? Excellent players moving to a club who finished 7th? Of course it'd be all okay though with Gill and Dyke - the bunch of hypocrites.

They won't sign them.
