well played united on winning the league maybe next week they can get back in the champions league
and the big target before christmas is the world cup

might as well have the parade now, a bit like Candlepool last season.

they won it so many time they will wait to parade all 9 trophies before Christmas then do the world tour in the new year

Thought they looked good going forward and will probably get better as they gel. Poor at the back though, without Champions League and maybe a couple of defenders in January they may get 4th if they have not fallen too far behin by then.

Next year, who knows, if they don't get Champions league will some of those new players hang around?

QPR had to make a 194-mile coach trip back to London after their defeat at Manchester United because they couldn't book out a train carriage - and Harry Redknapp cheekily blamed United supporters travelling back to the capital. (Daily Mail)

Seriously though the press wanking after they beat a dreadful QPR team, remember Spurs have already beaten them 4-0 this season, is way over the top.
But they will be challenging this year, as they should with the most expensive sqaud ever assembled. They have no distraction in Europe so can play thier best 11 week in week out and we saw what that did for Pool last season.
I am not discounting them from a title challenge, they will simply outscore most teams and last year teams were not afraid of them and got at them but with the PR campaigns in the press how many will revert to type like QPR yesterday and simply not turn up

I think we should be thanking our lucky stars that we were able to witness that performance today, a footballing masterpiece....

Forget ac Milan in the early 90s, forget Brazil 1970 World Cup, this was the ultimate footballing performance in living memory...l

That performance today will NEVER be topped....

Holy fucking shit, a terrible qpr team at home, why would any expect anything else than a comfortable win?

If that tit had scored that chance, when the lama came out of his net, then it would have been interesting

Can't believe what I'm hearing and reading in the British media, wait til they play someone decent, they will get fucking battered
The same media giddiness started last year when Davey la got his first win after a run of shite.. same will happen this time..

It wont last..
Gaalacticos..my arse juice.

What won't last, the press giddines or their apparent return to some sort of form. I think the problem for me is the press giddiness, its over the top and not needed, we can all watch a match and make up our minds on wethet another team is any good or not.

Well it is Monday morning and I see there is still no announcement from the Pope. Disgraceful, he should abdicate now allowing turtle the position he deserves after a remarkable weekend which saw his all conquering team win the League.

They cant find the right smoke bombs for the Chimney.

This is the real reason that the chips didn't run out last year...

"Footballers are creatures of habit and for as long as I can remember at United, it was a ritual that we had low-fat chips the night before a game. We loved our chips.

"But Moyes comes in and, after his first week, he says we can’t have chips any more. We weren’t eating badly. In fact, you’d struggle to find a more professional bunch of players than the ones at Manchester United in the summer of 2013.

From Rio's forthcoming book.

today in 1998 we was 5th in division 3,the rags was 5th in the prem, our fixture on that night in 1998 was derby county away in the league cup 2nd round first leg,the rags were due to play Barcelona at home in the champions league group stage...
this week in 2014 we are due to play Bayern munich away in the champions league group stage, the rags didn`t qualify for the champions league this year...
and I can`t stop laughing....
enjoy your wankfest beating QPR 4-0 you lurking rags,we used to get giddy whenever we beat Charlton or Southampton by a high score...
..."coz citeh are a massive club..."........you used to sing to us....
oh the fuckin irony.
