Rag at work has just used the 'yea but its our money' arguement when I mentioned that they should look a better side after spending £150 million

Tell him that we spend our money now and if he says "yeah, now", tell him that Ferguson spunked £20m of shares money on his first title-winning team.

Funnily enough his reply was 'yeah, now'

He was banging on about yesterday and how good they looked, then finished with 'but theres no point getting carried away yet'

Very predictable.

You give any half decent players like Di Maria that much space and they'll tear you apart. Against stronger teams that defence of theirs will certainly be exposed.

QPR, who also lost their last away match 4-0 to Spurs (the same Spurs that lost convincingly to Liverpool) have played five competition games this season in which they have scored a single goal; yet even this goal shy team carved out three or four really good goalscoring opportunities against the mighty reds.

Too much to hope, I suspect, that the wankfest could be delayed until they have beaten a team whose last away game wasn't a defeat at Burton Albion.
