Herrera out for "4 to 6 weeks" with a fractured rib. One of their better players. I don't know what is going on at the swamp and Arsenal but they are making our horrendous injury record look OK. Only Chelsea seem able to keep most of their team fit regularly.

BTW, if Herrera's absence reaches 5 weeks he will also miss the derby.
Mourinho has a degree in sports science so he knows the ins and outs of injury prevention. I've never seen one of his teams have an injury crisis.

Bet he brings his own "doctor" and "nutrionist" to each club. ;)

Watching the Atletico vs Juve game and Evra is starting at left back. Welbeck will get all the headlines, but he was not the only ex United player on show in the CL. Nani despite playing in the CL has taken a step backwards, but interesting that Welbeck, Kagawa and Evra all started for teams currently in a better position and likely to make the last 16 of the Cl. Even with the terrible midfield they had that squad should still have finished in the top 4. With the money they spent they should be expected to win the league. It's amazing how they are getting off so lightly and the media seem content to say they should make top 4.

The silence is deafening.

It's not really a surprise, though, is it?

The media don't want to upset their rag-loving readership nor reduce the number of clicks they receive on their Internet sites.

I think you're on to something. It's a bit 'out there' I know, but does anyone else think there may be some kind of agenda at play here?
