That's what I thought.

If both owners walked away (which is usually the phrase other clubs fans use) we would be in a much better position than Chelsea.
Possibly so, but it's a moot point. Why would anyone walk away from owning a leading football club? It's got to be one of the most intoxicating ego trips known to man. Who would even believe that someone would even consider giving that up? Someone who doesn't like football, perhaps.

Everyone knows that if you are a multi billionaire, you invest a billion quid in a new venture and walk away, because that is what successful businessmen do.
Exactly. Happens all the time.

Also 'Arabs' are known for the fickle nature, i mean look at horse racing, they soon got bored of that, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum started in 1992 so only 22 years of much success and now has stables around the world but i am sure they will be selling up and moving home anytime now.

De gea 18 million, Jones 18 million, Smalling 10 million, Shaw 27 million, Rojo 16 million = 89 million

Hart 1 mill, Zabs 6 mill, Kompany 8 mill, Kolorov 16 million, Mangala 32 million = 63 million (may be a little out on figures but not by a huge amount I think).

Just shows how much they have spent on that defence

Even the £47 million they spent in the summer could have been spent more wisely

Or perhaps if they hadn't wasted £35 million on a bang average midfielder in Herrera they could have used that to better effect

Di Maria is the only player showing any signs of living up to his value, he really is quality

No chance he will still be there next season the way their going

If they miss out on the Champions League again then we should put a bid in for him. I don't really wanna give them any money but it would be funny as fuck to take him off them. watching him last night though I was surprised at how little - if ever - he tracked back and helped Shaw or even put a tackle in on the WBA right back whenever he had the ball. He just seems to want the ball played to him and either have a run at the opposition or put a cross in and little all else interest in doing anything other for the team.

tbf I can think of a couple of reasons: its a 433 so he is expected to be more a forward than a winger, and secondly he was instructed by toadface.
Only pointing it out cause work rate is di maria's strength, and he does put in lots of effort.

As for the second point, he is to the rags what suarez was to the dippers. they basically have 1 strategy: pass it to di maria (suarez)

Yes....errrr.......massive capital investment is always a precursor to a swift exit from the business. Without fail.

I just think its brilliant that the only thing they can laugh at about us now is empty seats and ticket sales

Can anyone remember the last time we gave them something to laugh about 'on the pitch'?

And there also seems to be some irony in the fact most of the noise about the empty seats and ticket sales is coming from fans that don't even go to games

He's a megalomaniac. Cannot bear being out of the limelight.

Unbelievable attempt to rewrite history. When Moyes was appointed Taggart was all over it like a fucking rash, taking credit for the man he had hand-picked for the job.

He is such a lying c**t, he really is.

Eminently believable from that c*nt. He's not fit to bear my name, the c*nt.

Is he going to update it every time there is a new accusation about some of the less exceptional parts of his legacy?

Just so it's clear, because this sounds absurd, has it really just been updated to address criticism with how shit Moyes was, and how Ferguson should carry much of the blame?
