Now Vidal & Blind according to Rag Goldstein. Is Blind that good? I've seen a few games for Ajax and I'm not sure he's world class. The way they're panicking indicates to me no top 4 would be an absolute disaster for them.
He's getting giddy like all rags do. They've fallen for the club spin again.

Its all they have to cling onto bless them.....

They have at last bought a quality, if a little inconsistent player

But at the same time LVG will now get beaten with the money stick if he fails to get them into to the top 4. I don't think he will.

I am even starting to feel a little sorry for him when I watch his reaction to seeing his team play and concede goals.

I posted this in the Angel di Maria thread, but i think it deserves a mention in here also...

If I'm not mistaken, that is a Ferrari air freshener in a Chevrolet.

A fucking Chevrolet....

Which, IMHO, just about sums up MUFC as a club....

????????

They are already 5pts behind their closest rivals.......... Swansea.

I'd say building a club up like Fergie/United did in the late 80s affords some level of pride. Not to mention that much of our early success was built on players from our academy. To be able to spend in the present through the achievements of that past is remarkable. United has earned its way to the top.

Conveniently ignores the fact that they spent twice their income in the late 80's building their first PL winning team.

Been tracking ManU's use of the transfer window, and I must say that all their deals to date have been atrocious business deals. As a FC Porto fan we consider 10million euros to be alot for a player... yet we always end up finding the next big player usually under that... 30 for L.Shaw who only has one season in the Prem? reported 80 for Di Maria? 15/20 for Rojo? Im sorry Di Maria is skilled, but he will make a highway out of one of the wings for ManU..... especially with their wing back formation versus tradional full backs.... I dont even know where he would fit in considering they do not use wingers.. very strange aquisition and exorbitant fee.... Rojo in my opinion is not the great... while he played at Sporting last season he was obviously the best CB they had, as that was not hard... I would have definately gone for Manolas or Garay if they were looking for an "up ande coming" CB.... but onyl time will tell

Van Gaal is a great coach as his reputation speaks for itself, however he is onyl as good as the squad they give him... and that part is severely lacking..... what he did at the WC2014 with Netherlands or Barca/Bayern in previous years was with a hand picked and highly skilled squad... which is obviously what ManU dont have..
