Ian Ure was good as well.
Remember him having a real punch up with Law just before he joined them from Arsenal.

Just remembered an old joke from that era about the smell coming from the Swamp.... It was that man URE. It was not worth waiting all these years for. Sorry!

There's a sign in Bardsley on Ashton/Oldham Rd which always makes me smile 'MANURE FOR SALE' there's what akways seems to be a slight space in the middle of Manure as well.
