Their money men i bet have said "you must ensure cl footy or we are fucked, the sums are looking bad".

Is it just me or are they spending a large chunk in an almost speculative manor in order to simply get a large chunk (adidas stipulations on deal of 50% payment reduction if no cl) anyway.
I can see why they need cl asap though, allure, prize money, contrat stuff...

I love it, they are playing catch up and depleting all their resources doing it.
Not to mention they showed their own pr bullcrap up in sharp relief.
"the utd way" what the fuck did that ever really mean you cringe worthy uncouth fools. You have always spent a lot and had just one set of decent players come through.
That was the exception not the rule.

So they have another 150 mil in jan, is there anyone decent available who can be brought up the utd way.who will walk across europe barefoot to play for the shirt of the once mighty red devils.
Wankers

Think it may be a Skoda superb actually ........ oh the woman? No idea but as there are no super injunctions flying around today I assume its the family mans ever loving wife. I am surprised she can get comfortable with her heard on his crotch all the fucking padlocked body armour she must have on his cock and balls under those kex these days !!
Must admit it DOES look like the back of my Superb. Same colour too!
There's more room in the back of a Superb than in an "S" class Merc, but I've never sat in the back with a blonde on my lap - that would be wishful thinking!

They will need £150m to spend in the summer or they won't get anywhere. Their defence is still without any centre backs of any quality and they still lack steel in the midfield. Carrick and Fellaini aren't going to win them trophies. Arsenal and Liverpool look like they are finding their feet again and hopefully Southampton beat them on Monday so they drop points and drop back towards the pack. Their sponsorship deal was insane, the only way sponsors will pull out is when they consistently miss the CL so it would be ideal if they failed to qualify this season as well. Need them to make the Europa though so they can struggle with the Thursday and Sunday fixtures and play all over Eastern Europe. They will always be able to compete with that sponsorship revenue but players won't go if they're not in the CL consistently, sponsors will look and think - what's that other club over there winning things and playing in the CL? Let's go there instead.

If they don't qualify for the CL this season I'd be straight in with a bid for Di Maria. Try to unsettle him. Say come and join Mr Aguero, Zabaleta and Demichelis and come and play in the CL where you belong.

As I've said before, their bond documents stipulate that they have to achieve a minimum level of earnings otherwise the bondholders can demand immediate repayment and their revolving credit (i.e. overdraft) facility can be withdrawn. There is a get-out clause though, as they are allowed to miss the target if they fail to qualify for the CL in two non-consecutive seasons.

The implication is therefore that if they fail to qualify in two or more consecutive seasons and fail to hit the earnings target, they will be in breach of their financial covenants. That alone will be making them nervous.

Just been on sky sports that the rags have 150mil or more to spend.well now jonny foreigner who was 15 mil is now 25 mil.they never learn, always spouting I'm billy big bollocks.

From the season we won the league 11/12 they have spent £93 million more than us NET in transfers, and now they are talking about another £150 million. Ferguson really left them in some state didn't he.
