Di maria is still a world class player. He never wanted to go man utd in the first place but was sold by real madrid. He wanted to go to psg but ffp restrictions prevented him. Amazing how man utd fans opinions of him change so quickly. After la decima they said that di maria single handedly won them the cl and after the copa America they described him as a magician. I hope psg play the rags in the champions league and di maria knocks them out.

Looks like season tickets aren't selling too well down at the swamp. The press have tried the Ronaldo, Bale, Ramos, Hummels links and even they can only flog a dead horse (Sneijder) so many times so who better to link them to than Sergio. Laughable that any of the sad twats actually believe it.
You seem to forget that ALL these players merely want to come back to the club where thy were nurtured in their academy. The press just don't want to state the obvious.

The only time Sergio will score at the Swamp is when we play there.

They'll struggle over the length of a season - you can't bed in 4 or 5 new first team players and expect consistency. We were forced into doing that as we were developing and struggled to a top five finish each time, which is th best they can hope for.

I just hope that the struggle to a top four finish, again, will lead them to sack van gall (bladder) and replace him with a new manager with a new 'philosophy' who will start the process all over again.

Funny also how the tactical tosser couldn't get the best out of van persie and di maria and God knows which other 'world class' players he will destroy

VanNutjob is now saying at the end of his contract in 2017 he is jacking it in to spend more time with the wife.

So are they really going to give the loon more money this window and then all the money next window when the new TV money comes on stream for him to spunk it on player who want to leave after 12 months ( Tia Maria ) or who they want to leave after 12 moths ( Failcow ) or who he winds up so much they can't stay near him for 12 moths ( vanPersil ) ???

Meanwhile he picks up DeGea's replacement on a free - coz all the best players in the world are sat round with nothing to do of course.

The swamp has become a very strange place after GPC packed in - funny though

Not just that, all the rags getting giddy. Reverse the situation & you can put their position in perspective.

Imagine the following - Joe Hart in his last season of his contract is obviously not going to sign & being courted by Bayern Munich - Aguero unhappy & misses the official pre season trip instead tying up a move to Madrid for 30% less than his market value - caballero has a public falling out with Pelligrini over selection & is told he has no future at the club our replacement for both is a free transfer - Bony is sold to Galatasary for a nominal fee as he's unhappy - we sign an unheard of Italian full back & ageing superstar from the Bundesliga who is now injury prone & Southamptons defensive midfielder

and the the business they have done this window is top draw and made them title challengers if you listen to the bias deluded media

I just want De Gea to put a transfer request in and let the chaos begin.

De Gea is still their best player by a distance and Valdes/Romero aren't even close to adequate replacements. Not in the physical Premier League.

Agree, Di Maria is their most talented player, but Van Gaal can't get the best out of him.

What Van Gaal has done to Di Maria, Falcao and RVP the last 12 months is borderline criminal. He's stripped their 3 most talented players off their confidence, yet people say he's a good manager?! It's laughable.

The fact Guardiola let Schweinsteiger go so easily would worry me if I was a United fan. The best manager in the world didn't fight one bit to keep him, it's safe to assume he has declined.

He needs a superstar, apparently. Di Maria (£60m), Mata (£37m), Fellaini (£28m), Rooney (£27m), Shaw (£31m), Van Persie (£24m), Depay (£25m), Schneiderlin (£27m) and Herrera (£24m) aren't quite super enough.

Great signing for Utd that keeper is, well, it would be if he wasn't a bag of shit.
