No football player has ever said they want to stay and left. We will need to wait for the transfer window to close first.
Considering you h8 them so much. You defend them a fair amount.

Can only imagine you're a caring and fair minded individual.

Wish we were playing them this week too!

I'd fancy our chances against them if we were playing them tomorrow tbh. That midfield of theirs can still be overrun. Chelsea just didn't have the personnel to do it.

Fabregas went awol and City went straight down the middle. Try that against our Schmidfield and see what happens.

Snubbed by Sadio Mane to stay at Southampton!!

The gift that keeps on giving, absolutely loving this

They'll end up panic buying a player they don't need for twice his value. I knew things would go tits up when the gpc went, but I didn't think they'd be quite as incompetent as this. It's as though the last 30 years hasn't happened and they're new to football.

T^heir owners are yanks all they care about is money money and more money. As long as it keeps rolling in they don't give a stuff about anything else.

SO when we beat them in October, that'll be their excuse. Wrong month.

Had SSN for the past 2 hours since getting in and no clips from them reference the Van Pulis press conference. It`s as if it never happened. I was looking forward to seeing him squirm.

They'll probably sign Pogba next season then and their aging squad and FFP nightmare will be over..

This tiny club shouldn't be anywhere near the elite clubs but they're getting away with it all because of outrageous sponsorship deals, its infuriating.

The Turtle needs to be very careful in his attitude with the press vultures. None of us like them and we can say pretty much anything we like about them without fear of comebacks but the Turtle on the other hand could be setting himself up for an almighty fall with his arrogance and sheer rudeness. Once the knives are out for him there will be relentless pressure questioning every decision he makes until he rues the day he crossed them. I hope this doesn't come true by the way because he's doing a sterling job undermining that shithole of a club and long may it continue.

Precisely - you never bite the hand that feeds you - and the press pack is the hand that has fed them succour for decades - never more so than in recent years and now this knob turns on their only friend the only way they are going to be able to maintain the illusion of still being great during their fallow years - the tick is tocking and I am loving it

Don’t get too carried away here. What most of you don’t seem to grasp is Van Gaal doesn’t have the players to fit his philosophy. Pedro certainly doesn’t fit the bill for the philosophy he is trying to implement, hence them pulling out of the deal and allowing Chelsea to sign him.

He’s changing their style from a team who always had pacey wingers, played it out wide early to try to isolate the full backs to swing a cross in of a CF's to get on the end of. What Van Gaal is trying to do has never been done before. He’s creating a brand new style of football.

Much the way Barcelona are renowned for their tika taka football, give it another 5 years or so and United will be credited for inventing hoofball. Now this isn’t just any old hoofball, this is a new style of hoofball; this is the best and the biggest hoofball in the world. The long diagonal balls to the Belgian Afro Headed Superstar are something to behold and something of beauty.

Never before has the world of football seen hoofball played where the target man is a midfielder who drifts in the channels finding the smallest person he can find to bully. Historically, hoofball tactics involved a target man and flick ons to a smaller pace striker (Fash the Bash & Tiny Terry Gibson spring to mind), but Van Gaal has adapted this for the modern game where a lot of midfielders are now slightly shorter and more technically gifted than they once were. This means that Fallaini can use his height advantage to good effect, whilst this also negates his lack of technical ability with the all at his feet, heading balls backwards to his other midfielders so they get up the pitch very very quickly without having to kick the ball more than once. This man is a pure genius to dream up these tactics. Pedro would definitely not fit his philosophy as hoofball is the direct opposite to Tika Taka, which is what Pedro has grown up with. Genius I tell you all, he’s a genius. He’s like a rich man’s Sam Alladyce.

Criminally overlooked post from 15 pages back.

My rag mates are all giddy about his press conference they love him, so I got through half a message explaining how he is there downfall then I thought!! Crack on rag boys LVG IS GOD! AND ED'S THE SECOND COMIC! Deluded is a massive understatement.

they have no plan A or B or C, they are trying to buy players based on what they would like to happen, instead of creating a firm base and platform for something to take place and happen

their transfer plan and philosophy is a laughing stock...they are a laughing stock and will now continue to be so
