Can't see them winning much while he is there. Fine line between genius and nutter and he has crossed it.

What none of us know is how they accounted for that £3.2m so unless we do, everyone is arguing for nothing. There's a capital element to any transfer and a revenue element. If club A pay club B £50m for a player that's a capital, balance sheet item and that's what gets amortised. It might also pay agents fees but class those as an overhead or revenue item, which goes into the P&L account. As does his wages.4 times and you still admit you didn't read anything about the transfer except the fee you saw in the paper. You're not Nick Leeson are you?
So the simplistic way is the balance sheet WON'T show the fact United paid FIFA £3.2m, bringing the yearly loss to nearly £7m? Hope it's picked up on the FFP check. ;-)
There is a fine line between genius and nutter but there's a 12 lane motorway between genius and van Gaal. Can't see them winning much while he is there. Fine line between genius and nutter and he has crossed it.
