I agree with them - (not sure what it means really)

My point is that they were sat on Red Cafe which runs Xenforo software slagging off the forum software for Bluemoon which runs on Xenforo software.

We run the same thing as they do. But ours is Blue and therefore is shit according to the geniuses over there

Anyone know roughly what their attendance was last night - it has "officially" been stated as 75 k , however a work colleague who went stated there were thousands of empty seats? Could it be City had a bigger attendance last Sunday??

No chance it was 75k, looked like there were whole sections in the upper tiers empty from the pictures on TV.

There were more at City V Chelsea than there were at the Swamp last night. The Maine Stand had lots of Empty seats which you would not have seen on TV. It was dire.
I walked home from the swamp last night thinking - our ground is significantly better than theirs, our corporate facilities are miles ahead, our kit is nicer, our fans are nicer, our training ground is better, our owners are better, our image as a club is better - I genuinely think we will overtake them in every single way in my lifetime.

It is nowhere near as good an experience going there as going to the Etihad. The stadium is hideous.

Lou Macari on talkshite this Morning, ''Wayne Rooney has got fat over the Summer'' just the Summer you blind fucker, have you not seen him in the last 5 years?

There's always a chance it could go tits up with the Sheik if he passed away, or there was some major political issue between the UK and UAE, but investors at United could equally decide that football's not for them, or it's time to change their investment from one club to another. After all, they aren't necessarily football fans, let alone United fans. They are just investors.

Even if it did go tits up at City, we wouldn't necessarily be back to pre Sheik days. We've grown hugely and would be an entirely different proposition to new owners. You can't put the genie back in the bottle.

Things change. It's pointless them believing change can only happen to City, whilst kidding themselves they are immune to it.

There ARE some real whoppers on every forum, but there's a few sensible ones on RedCafe too who do actually credit us as having a fantastic squad and having changed as a club (which isn't going to just 'go away').

As you say, there are a couple of scenarios where the Sheikh could walk away and sell up. However, him "getting bored" is the unlikeliest of the lot and I find it completely and utterly astonishing that, just 13 days shy of the 7th anniversary of the ADUG takeover, there are still opposition fans out there that peddle such a desperate line. GDM has made the point on numerous occasions that there can be few things more intoxicating than owning a football club. Of all the Sheikh's business interests, City will give him more enjoyment than most, if not all. We might not be making him anywhere near as much money (thus far anyway) than some of his other ventures. For example, one clear case in point is that him dabbling in those Barclays shares a few years back made him billions, but I can guarantee that watching City will be far more entertaining for him than watching Barclays share price increase.

Also, I concur that if the Sheikh exited now then it's unlikely that the club would implode due to the fact that it's grown exponentially over the past 7 years and much of the infrastructure is now in place for long-term sustainability. With next to no debt to speak of, we'd be an attractive proposition to a lot of potential buyers.

While there are indeed a lot of intelligent posters on Red Cafe, anyone spouting this kind of hackneyed bollocks is as thick as fucking pig shit.

They're all cunts and motherfuckers and can all fuck off the rag bastards. Depay is a ****. Rooney is a rug-headed ****.

I concur, Jack.
