SSN have "dramatic transfer news" about Muller and the rags coming up after the break

Working from home today with it on in the background for the first time and hadn't realised what a heap of biased junk it actually is

EDIT - its just rehased bollocks about a £60m bid

As you say, there are a couple of scenarios where the Sheikh could walk away and sell up. However, him "getting bored" is the unlikeliest of the lot and I find it completely and utterly astonishing that, just 13 days shy of the 7th anniversary of the ADUG takeover, there are still opposition fans out there that peddle such a desperate line. GDM has made the point on numerous occasions that there can be few things more intoxicating than owning a football club. Of all the Sheikh's business interests, City will give him more enjoyment than most, if not all. We might not be making him anywhere near as much money (thus far anyway) than some of his other ventures. For example, one clear case in point is that him dabbling in those Barclays shares a few years back made him billions, but I can guarantee that watching City will be far more entertaining for him than watching Barclays share price increase.

Also, I concur that if the Sheikh exited now then it's unlikely that the club would implode due to the fact that it's grown exponentially over the past 7 years and much of the infrastructure is now in place for long-term sustainability. With next to no debt to speak of, we'd be an attractive proposition to a lot of potential buyers.

While there are indeed a lot of intelligent posters on Red Cafe, anyone spouting this kind of hackneyed bollocks is as thick as fucking pig shit.
Wishful thinking, it's called. "What if the Sheikh should die?" It comes to something when you start hoping people will die for your savation. Not all rags can accept the truth, even after seven years. And as for "the Sheikh might lose interest brigade " ", they have clearly never been within a hundred miles of our stadium and it's environment. We should club together and bring them on a day trip so that they might see the epic scale of things with MCFC. The twats would jump off the roof at the Asda superstore.

To be fair, the Glazers will never get bored with United. To get bored, you have to show some interest in the first place. It's funny how much it hurts them that our owners are just the polar opposite to their parasites.

Yes, that's right. SSN are currently comparing Rooney and Mullers ratings on football manager to show people what a great imaginary signing he will be

Now if Müller was to leave and join..... say Arsenal, that would be the icing and cherry on top of the who's snubbed Ushited cake!

Also Woodward didn't had anything to do with Depay signing other than of course paying the price. They were losing him to PSG but LVG at the last minute managed to convince him to United. Haha.

I'm not even convinced The Sheik is all that into football in the first place in order to get bored of it. This project isn't really a little sporting folly (not in my eyes), otherwise we'd see him at the matches, and mixing with the players etc. This is a proper business venture.
All of that said, and many football fans don't grasp this. Football clubs (even the very largest ones) are pitifully small in the business world. BP turnover more in a year than all of the world's clubs combined - which helps to add some perspective.

As you say, whatever the future holds, 'boredom' won't be a factor.
