I'm no fan of Charlie Austin, but he outscored some pretty decent players last season, playing for a piss poor relegation fodder QPR side. He's already scored 4 this season for them in the Championship. I'm surprised that the likes of West Ham and Sunderland aren't trying to snap him up. He's only got a year left on his contract. If we signed him, I'd only be happy as a replacement for Hernandez who looks likely to be on his way.

Well Raggy, surprised West Ham or Sunderland are not after him are you!, Bournmouth also have an interest. This is how far the great have fallen, being in competition with teams that will stuggle to stay in or prop up the division

yep one text straight away after the game saying, we are by far still the biggest team in world football and biggest scalp just look at the way swansea are celebrating

Haha I like the big scalp term, does anyone remember how they celebrated the last derby like they won the world cup against little city who are a small club with no fans and no history and the fans we've got are from Stockport.

The reality is just beginning to dawn on Utd fans.

A slowing Rooney moved up top - and then the error compounded by selling all their other forwards. Hilarious!

Hahaha:

West Ham pulled the plug on a move for Javier Hernandez after the striker demanded a "ludicrous" contract including a bonus of £90,000 per goal.

The Hammers are instead set to complete deals for Hull striker Nikica Jelavic and Chelsea winger Victor Moses. They are also continuing to target wingers Michail Antonio at Nottingham Forest and Pione Sisto FC Midtjylland.

Hernandez was told he could quit Manchester United over the weekend. He has since joined German club Bayer Leverkusen for £12million.

The 27-year-old Mexican held talks beforehand with the Hammers who had chased him for most of the summer.

They sold him? Twats, better hope Bournemouth don't beat them to Austin or they won't finish in the top 10.

Dull possession football with no cutting edge. LVG is happy that for 85 mins we kept the ball, but seems to miss the whole scoring goals to win games. You know, a pretty integral part of football! There were glimpses of magic between Shaw, Herrera, Mata, with Schweinsteiger joining in, but Rooney is way off form. As a lone striker he needs to be at the top of his game and he isn't even close. Problem with Rooney is that he needs games to get his fitness, so dropping him is counter productive. This current predicament makes the mind boggle at the decision to offload RVP for peanuts.
Really must keep taking my medication! I'll have several pints of what you've been drinking - unless, of course,
a) You are another resident rag (edit:"we kept the ball), or
b) You think that passing to each other in your own half is "magic".

Given whats happened since, I now look upon those scenes with great fondness. It showed just how much they want to be top dogs again. For a moment, the mask slipped and their inhibitions went out of the window.

Fucking hilarious.

Oh, and don't forget their next league game is against their big rivals. Definitely. I'm sure they'll be reminding everyone of that nearer the time.

Big rivals for fourth, competing for the we used to be top dogs and can't hack where we are cup, sponsored by Chevrolet and standard chartered.

In fairness to both my brothers they've were always okay in terms of the piss taking when we were shit, unlike my old man who was pretty relentless to say the least. He was fairly brutal at times. Still, it's all worked out rather nicely. He's fucking hating it at the moment. It's hilarious.

That particular brother was open minded enough to pretty openly despise Ferguson when he was their manager, certainly towards the end, for many of the reasons he's disliked on here, particularly in relation to the matters to which the '99 questions' arose. He also stopped going to old trafford for a number of years because of the Glazers, but refused to engage with FCUM, so fair play to him. He started going again last year, with dad, because the old fellah is 80 now and isn't going to be around for ever and it's something for them to do together.

Fucking pair of rag cnuts ;-)
Hahaha....priceless.

Oh, and what's the reference to the '99 questions'?
