It's a real situation they are building there. If it wasn't for their wealth, this would be a Swales-Franny, Alan Ball-Frank Clark type mess. It has been that badly run, it's actually pure City 'cups for cockups' level mismanagement.
This is like when City gave Frank Clark money to spend in the mistaken belief he knew what he was doing with it. This bloke is like a Dutch Frank Ckark. Paceless boring football, ged Brannan style plodding centre mids. But if they sacked him, a new manager would ideally want to ditch most of his signings, along with Moyes' signings & Fergusons mistakes.
It might be better for them just to ride it out now & see if his ridiculous plan works. Then start again in a few years if it doesn't.
If they brought in a Pep, or Klopp, you would imagine they would need a lot of players out & in. Joking aside it's quite fascinating to see a club with such resources having a modern day Peter Swales style owner/chief exec running the show.
Perhaps Mourinho will end up there when Chelsea fire him ?

When you look at the respective costs of the two squads that is an utter fucking disgrace on their part. An even bigger disgrace is how the subject has avoided any form of meaningful scrutiny in the press.The answer to that question has been NONE for some time now
