Reminds me of when we used to sign over the hill former world class players. Like Fowler. Or Schmeichel.
Sure Schneiderlin's ok (never been that impressed with him, though) and Pig Fucker's classy but over the hill, but I honestly fail to see how they're too much better than last year.
Especially if they're losing Dobby and De Gea.
And they still Have Turtle head in charge, who could cause an argument in an empty room.

For me, Utd need a Silva type player. They have lots of possession but it's all around the back 5. They then run out of ideas and lump it to Fellaini. Without him they are the worst of the top 4 at breaking down a bus.
Herrera is a busy player but doesn't really have that killer pass, Mata is more goalscorer/set piece specialist than playmaker. Will Bastian do that job? doubtful, he's not really that kind of player, and I think the way to get the most out of him at his age/fitness in the PL is to sit him infront of the back 4, but they now have Carrick and Schneiderlin in that role.

If they lose De Gea and Di Maria it's their two best players out the door, no matter what they try and tell us. Cavani is the latest striker being linked, but I'm not convinced he's THAT good.

Yep, I agree. He wanted to join us and play with zabba and kun. Settled for utd and sulked all season. I think if he played for us he would be 50 times better.the great Ashley Young kept Di Maria out of the team last season,he doesn't fancy it at all....

I think that Di Maria under estimated the PL. He played for the top dogs in Spain and Portugal where most weeks they played against cannon fodder sides who just rolled over. Then he comes over here and suddenly everyone is up for it and snapping at your heels. Then on the bench they have players dying to get on the pitch to show the new manager what they can do. And then to top it all off, a bunch of criminals in balaclavas come knocking on his patio doors while they are eating their din dins. I reckon his heart is not in it at all. Fuck that - I feel for his family in that ordeal but he and his agent signed on no doubt lured by £££'s so he lumps it and tough shit to the nob-head. If he got the wrong club out of two then hard luck buddy - long may you be an ineffective drain on the resources at the swamp is what I say.
