Fuck me............. can I have a pint of what he is drinking please???

I'm sure an element of tongue in cheek with that one.

This Rashford lad has certainly got an eye for goal. Their right back looks reasonable too. Hopefully this is where the production line for them grinds to a halt and ours starts to spring into life.

How they are still in the mix for top 4 playing the way they do I don't know. Frustrating to think had we beat them, we would be 10 clear and out of sight

I wonder if their "production belt" will come good next season. Or if they'll have to overpay for every player in sight again. A dangerous time for them missing champions league again (if they don't make it), no guarantee they'll just waltz into the top four next season, and then all of a sudden players might actually see playing for other teams as more attractive.

Tolmie is itk, I am not, make that clear. I have a friend who is and he is adamant Jose isnt really in ths frame for United and United's future is unclear due to an everchanging situation.

He is adamant Real is the job with Paris a fall back plan, mainly the next job is Jose's last and whoever appoints him shall get the final act of Jose, for better or worse.

Fair enough, we shall see, but since my last post I'm even more sure of it happening. Could happen very soon.

Their problem is that they have a very decent under 21 side (albeit regularly and artificially boosted by first team players) but this is the last of the famed 'production line'. Their under 18s are complete shite and finished second bottom of their league as well as being humiliated by Chelsea in the Youth Cup. Their other academy sides are similarly shite with the under 14s being hammered 9-0 by City, a result which led to a top level 'crisis' meeting at the swamp. City have been dumping the rags' junior sides in every age group up to and including under 18s all season.

City have been quietly hoovering up all the local talent while the rags sat back complacently thinking that all local kids would crawl over broken glass to play for them. Even when several United players were sending their kids to City's academy the penny still didn't drop.

Their short term fix will no doubt be to scour the world for promising teenage talent with which to boost their flagging youth set up and after a couple years claim they brought them through their own academy. Just like they did with Januzaj who has since vanished off the face of the earth.
