They need a huge overhaul of that squad. They could have a decent spine of De Gea, Bailly, Matic and Mata and Rashford.

For me, Matic has been mourinho’s best signing and if he put more trust in Mata he would make them tick far more than Pogba.

But we all know, they will make 1 or 2 “huge” big name signings. Just enough to ensure the fans keep spending and enough to get into the top 4.

Exactly the same business model as Arsenal.

As a neutral football fan, I feel for Rashford because with a good manager, he could be a top player.

fuck me the excuses come thick and fast don't they?

all the moaning over the road and jose saying £300million is not enough they spent on new players well its clear as mud to me
we are talking about pep and manchester city can money get you the level of management man city have in pep

its not down to money or players its the style of football and the knowledge your manager has and you can players to jump if they say so but the believes and vision is key look at this season and for most of the season pep has had to use the squad from the last 2 seasons and with mendy out pep took delph to one side and made him a fullback that is the difference not big money signings the manager has got to manage a football club and work hard on the training field

ask every single united fan with a brain 3 years ago who is your pick of managers and pep was number 1 simple and jose would never get a look in pep builds a football club from top to bottom jose takes a football club and knocks them down and leaves them in a mess

No he doesn't. He always walks into a world class team and only has to buy one or two players. He has just been lucky and is a cheque book manager. Moyes could have had the same success at Barca with Messi in the team. He won't have the same success in the premier league and he will be found out. Fraudiola...!

"Foot note" for those who think i was being serious with the above post. I was having a joke about how sadcafe portrays Pep. I thought it was a bit obvious...maybe not!
