Who -if anyone- would they get in the Jan window? And would the rag hierarchy seriously allow this man more money after what he's blown so far? I don't think so. The Glazer's are no fools and they are obviously aware of the general unrest running throughout the swamp, caused by Maureen. They know the lemmings that (purport) to follow the club are unhappy with the hoofball Peg serves up for them, and of course they will be well and truly aware that we are receiving all the plaudits for the style and panachè we display game in game out. They'll see the TV interviews where Pep comes across as affable and easy-going, smiling and being complimentary to other clubs etc, and they'll see the demonic, wild-eyed yesterday's man they employed, snarling and spitting venom at the media/referees/match officials/other managers and the rest and know that he is the public face of their club, an angry, bitter hypocrite who shows all the signs of become more and more unbalanced with every passing day. They'll be only all too aware that this spiteful, belligerent Portuguese troll represents their club, the very club they are pretty much relying to prop up all their other business interests, home and abroad.

I think they'll tell him to sell before they give him any more money, and in true Maureen style he'll throw a hissy fit and this time next year he'll be causing huge unrest at PSG.

Why would you give peg more money, he either buys dross or stifles the life out of talent, he’s just making excuses for not being good enough. It’s laughable. He makes joke signings
Was talking about this with a mate the other day. You'd be far happier if it was your money being spent to give Guardiola an increased budget than Maureen. Guardiola might need it a lot less, but he's also spending it better and therefore protecting your investment.

I see a lot of them mention the reason why they’re shit is because of Moyes and the disastrous season he had. I feel a bit sorry for Moyes, I know he led them to 7th place, but he got barely no money to spend on a squad that was shit. Fergie dragged them across the finish line the previous season, or should I say van persie and mancini’s/city’s incompetence to mount a title challenge. Never really understood the criticism Moyes gets, certainly doesn’t deserve the blame for their current shitness.

I agree. It’s nearly 4 years since Moyes was sacked and blaming the current situation on him is ridiculous. Moyes only made 2 big money signings - Fellaini and Mata - and both are still there. While Mata doesn’t always get in the side, anyone can see he’s a decent player. As for Fellaini, as much as we like to poke fun at him he’s been integral to the plans of both managers who succeeded Moyes. Moyes was never going to be good enough for that job but he’s far less guilty of wasting money than either van Gaal or Mourinho.

The current situation comes from the top, which has no discernible long-term plan or strategy. As long as that remains the case, they will continue to flounder.

Excellent.

The bit that i would be worried about is how they are dropping points.

Ok from a Rag point of view
Chelsea away is always going to be tough, maybe expect to lose.
City at home, as above but with home advantage maybe they would have been expecting a point.
Huddersfield away, they would have been expecting 3 points.
Stoke away, Leicester away, Burnley home, Dippers way - They would have been hoping for at least 10 points.

Worrying times for the rags that i expect to continue, if we win our next 3 games i suspect they will fall away quickly.
I hope so mate, but the twats won' t go away completely.Yesterday was one of those games where not many people expected Burnley to be 2 up. Just knew if the shite got one they'd get 2 and lo and behold. It's the opposing teams mindset at times that pisses me off. Up until the last week or so there's still too many teams out there who just fucking fold for them.
