United thread 2017/18

I've seen over on the Caf that they now have a thread discussing "how big are Tottenham as a club".

Seriously what is it with them and their obsession with the size of other clubs, it is totally irrelevant in every context, it's just like a glorified dick swinging contest with them.

It is almost like they have to convince themselves that the size of the club is more relevant than the performance of the team,

Myself i have never found this to be important in any way, why would it be, maybe insecure people need to associate themselves to what they consider to be success.

To be fair, the OP in that thread was responding to a Spurs fan who is the biggest non-United WUM on that forum and is renowned for his delusion and smugness. There was probably no need to start a new thread though

This is why the Tout didn't want him near the club - when he leaves - as he inevitably will - he will leave such wreckage in his wake.

He can be a bit like a clearing fire though. Sets fire to the forest, lets everything burn down and leaves, allowing the club to build on the cleared land. Chelsea won

For example he will get rid of their deadwood and leave them with probably another 1 or 2 mega-signings, who will be good players even if they're shit under his crap football. A new manager will probably turn that into a good side after he's gone.

The major worry for us is that he fucks everything up so badly that the Glazers have to step in, get rid of Woodward & co. and replace him with someone competent, aided by a decent director of football.

So Mourinho is claiming that Scholes is jealous of Pogba because of the money he has made.

Someone should explain to Jose what the terms 'the United way' and 'irony' means because it sounds like he's bragging about Pogba fucking United off and costing them a world record fee to bring him back at the expense of a guy who spent his whole career at United.

Big Sam beat Man Utd with us (west ham) a couple seasons ago.

Problem is Big Sam tends to manage shit clubs with shit players, Man Utd tend to have 11 better men on the pitch than whatever Big Sam has to put out - so yes, it's little wonder United get the upper hand

That's because he is shit.

The words "to be fair" have no place on the utd thread. People have been dry-bummed and torched for less.

;)

That's a fcukin expensive project though: loadsa money, reputational damage and two or three years elapsed time.

Compare it with making the right appointment instead...

The fact that he's their third dodgy appointment on the bounce only makes it more delicious :)
