Twice. I checked. He's def beat them when he was a bolton manager.
I've seen over on the Caf that they now have a thread discussing "how big are Tottenham as a club".
Seriously what is it with them and their obsession with the size of other clubs, it is totally irrelevant in every context, it's just like a glorified dick swinging contest with them.
It is almost like they have to convince themselves that the size of the club is more relevant than the performance of the team,
Myself i have never found this to be important in any way, why would it be, maybe insecure people need to associate themselves to what they consider to be success.
This is why the Tout didn't want him near the club - when he leaves - as he inevitably will - he will leave such wreckage in his wake.
If you did, I would gladly hold the baton til you got your breath backCan I just say I would never tire of slaping Jesse Lingard
Big Sam beat Man Utd with us (west ham) a couple seasons ago.
Problem is Big Sam tends to manage shit clubs with shit players, Man Utd tend to have 11 better men on the pitch than whatever Big Sam has to put out - so yes, it's little wonder United get the upper hand
To be fair, the OP in that thread was responding to a Spurs fan who is the biggest non-United WUM on that forum and is renowned for his delusion and smugness. There was probably no need to start a new thread though
He can be a bit like a clearing fire though. Sets fire to the forest, lets everything burn down and leaves, allowing the club to build on the cleared land. Chelsea won
For example he will get rid of their deadwood and leave them with probably another 1 or 2 mega-signings, who will be good players even if they're shit under his crap football. A new manager will probably turn that into a good side after he's gone.
