Sky relentlessly flogging the "Manchester United haven't spent any money this Window" propaganda. Essentially, even ignoring wages etc, they're showing the rags' net spend against everyone else's gross spend. If they'd bought Sanchez from Arsenal but sold Mikhtarian to someone else for the same amount it wouldn't mean they hadn't spent any money. Doesn't affect us but, on that basis, Liverpool haven't spent a penny so why show them as the biggest spenders ?
No biggie but a pathetic contortion of the truth to support a bogus narrative.

Relax! This type of thing used to bother me but we are now so superior in every single department, it just makes me smile. Cut them some slack and allow them something, however meaningless, to hang their hat on! Anyway they have to have some "facts" to back up the "United won the transfer window" narrative.

A rag at work told me city are a charity club spending fake money and distorting football.
They really are thick

The letter has been signed by business and community leaders including Stretford MP Kate Green, Bishop of Salford John Arnold and Tom Skinner, director of Greater Manchester Poverty Action.

Citizens UK said if new signing Alexis Sanchez was paid £400,000 a week, as some have reported, it would take him just 82 minutes in a game to earn the annual salary of a low-paid stadium worker.

It's not the fans to blame though. The shite that passes for journalism in this country is to blame. If they actually called him out for how shite he actually is then the fans would follow suit, and maybe even ask how one of the best managers in the world (!) has turned one of the most expensive midfielders in world football into the current lazy, dancing imbecile that he undoubtedly is.

Brillant. Poetry that Malg. Pissing myself laughing. They really have made him shit (or was he any good to begin with? Have to admit never really saw him play when at Juve and even now as dont watch too many rag games).

Huge hammmer blow for them last night, but let’s not get too giddy. I think we will face them in the champions league.

If Sane stays out for a long time, Jesus doesn't come in for a while, and City don't make a panic buy, the league could become interesting once more! If they lost De Bruyne too, I'd bet on us to overtake them..

The Spurs vs. rags match was televised last night and from what I’ve heard that was highly entertaining. ;0)
I was watching the city game and at the end they showed the Spurs goals. For the first time I years I actually burst out laughing and almost spat out my Ribena when they showed the own goal. It was quite sensational.

Haha I believe it was very Benny hill from that shower last night, I didn't know Tottenham scored after 11 seconds, then own goal from Jones, and then gave up. Comedy club

what table is he looking at FFS? Not like a rag to wish injury on our players to try and get some sort of advantage is it? Also has he not realised that despite them spunking all their money on one marquee signing at a time we have been buying more than one player for each position to cope with injuries the muppet. Buenos Aires must be messing with his head.
