He was part of a team at Juve, with Pirlo and Vidal in midfield with Tevez upfront, but coming into midfield

At the swamp he is expect to do it all with their crap midfielders. He is too incosistant and as expected, with the media making him out to be Messi and Ronaldo rolled into one.

Crap midfielders? Matic is the bestest midfielder, transfer ever. He was what they were missing.. Do you not have a TV?

1 in 4 people on the planet are odious gobshites? Yeah, I can go along with that.

I am enjoying the whole narrative developing around our respective footballing styles. Turgid versus exciting, defensive versus attacking, slow versus fast, pragmatic versus scintillating. The media are really getting into it and it's developing into a great story where even non-partisan supporters can join in and pick their favourite Good versus Evil character. I suspect Mourinho appreciates this and enjoys playing up to his character. You can take your pick from literature of this classic storyline. I always had a soft spot for the Big Bad Wolf in Little Red Riding Hood, and understand how people like to side with the baddie.
Long may it continue.
With United being relevant in the league for the first time in a few years, and arguably the 2 biggest managers in football in one city (yes I know), the stage is set for a classic production. Will bad triumph over good? Or will good prevail?
So I for one, am willing to cut Mourinho some slack for his anti-football and being a bit twatty, in the knowledge that he is simply playing his part in this enfolding drama.

I'm not so sure either one of them are "playing their part".

Pep is absolute and genuine in his beliefs as to how the game should be played. His authenticity is beyond doubt.

And the same can be said of that wanker @ the swamp - ie he really is an authentic odious twat.

Out of interest, why are negative managers called "pragmatic"? Is it really pragmatic to sit back and not attack the worst defence in the league, just because you are so scared of them scoring? That sounds more like cowardice than pragmatism

Pogba's definitely a talented midfielder. A lot of you are doing him a disservice. He's got incredible physical and technical prowess.

The thing about it is, is that he plays for THIS United side. A really turgid side with really turgid players. Don't forget he's only 24, and he's being asked to single handedly lead a title charge offensive in CM (the toughest position) for a team that hasn't played close to decent football in years.

He looked great for Juve. And some of you might not like to hear it but he'd be amazing if he had time to integrate into our team.

But he plays for United. And unfortunately for him his career is doomed to go down as long as he's there, especially in this Mourinho incarnation. It's a team that stifles good footballers.

Top midfielders don’t run like Carlton Palmer! Pogba close ball control is shite give him space and bit of time and he looks half decent but so would a majority of midfielders in premier.

Enjoyed this.

Strange that Pulis and Allardyce are long ball, negative managers, but Mourinho is pragmatic.
