Dear United fans,
Why we celebrated like we did.
1. It was`nt particularly that we came to your place and won the Derby
2. It was`nt particularly to crow
3. It was`nt particularly that we had 65% possession at Old Trafford
4. It was`nt particularly because we broke your 40 game unbeaten home record
5. It was`nt particularly because we broke your 100% home record for the season
6. It was`nt particularly that we increased or lead to 11 points at the top of the table from our nearest rival

It was I think that we recorded our 14th consecutive win in the premier League and marching on to break more records at home and abroad, records since the very start of football as we know it. plus a soupcon of 1,2,3,4,5,6, as well.

must admit seeing your miserable kites puts the cherry on the cake

See Maureen still making little digs about celebrating goals. He is such an annoying ****. I suppose when keeping their armchair lot happy is the only goal as an owner, by winning trophies at any cost, then you have to sell your soul to the devil.

Lakaku looks well pissed off to me. Bet he got a shit load of abuse behind closed doors last week for his performance.

Yep, we're also one of the very few clubs who don't lose players they're not happy to lose. Who was the last city player to leave that the club didn't want to leave?
It happens, Sancho was the last, but had they been more enthusiastic we'd have kept Kolarov, Nasri, Milner and Tevez amongst others.

They say Mourinho is the master of deflection, but surely that title goes to the Manchester United board?

How can a club be so poorly run on the pitch for so many years after its last major league success? There was no continuity plan after Ferguson left. They have brought in three managers that were either shit, played shit football, or both. They have been as bad in the transfer market as City were at its worst under Hughes: a sea of flops with the occasional mild success. It is telling that the core of their current team are either academy players or players who were at the club under Ferguson.

Fellaini's a key player for them FFS.

They're either going to need to spend a boat load of money or fix the way they are run as a club if they ever want major successes again.

Spot on. They are simply throwing money at "named players" without any cohesive strategy. They have a long way to go to begin running the club in a manner that is likely to yield sustained improvement.

United fans still think they can offer the same as Madrid and Barca in the De Bruyne thread over there haha deluded

They are very gingerist too...

That a square headed ginger is the face of the club speaks volumes in itself.

Footballers say a lot of things and the vast majorty of it should be taken with a pinch of salt. These lads are educated in the ways of Public Relations don't forget - he's hardly going to come out and say something like "I hate being an essentiall cog in our billionaire owners latest pet project. I Can't wait to leave for a proper football club whom harbour integrity and honour above all else"

They don’t do irony do they lol

Do you think KdB dreamt of playing for City?

I doubt he would think twice if he was offered the opportunity of moving to Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern Munich, Juventus, or even little old United. It would just be a question of agreeing a, considerable, transfer fee.

they really don't get it do they.
pmsl.

I think they probably do get it, but are so used to deluding themselves, they can't help it.

None of them can afford him anyway, and I'm pretty sure when offered a list of their managers (and ours), and who he'd prefer to play for, he's going nowhere else.

It looks to me like they decided fairly quickly, after the departure of the pisscan and the disastrous periods of wee davey and van maad that they were never going to scale the dizzy heights of success again in the same way, that the next best course of action was to appoint as high a profile manager as they could ( after pep of course) and buy in as high profile players as they could and set the pr machine in full spin - just mention players like griezman etc and keep the profile as high as possible.
It’s working too, they are shit to watch but they are just about keeping the 69 billion happy just by existing as a high profile entity which will achieve nothing but sells plenty of shirts.

I don't think they're throwing money on names now when Mourinho is there. He is buying players for his kind of team. But their problem is that nowadays they often have to get only their 2nd or 3rd choice players as they don't have the pull they used to have. And that's why Pep coming to City at this time was another masterstroke, they had enough money to build completely new team and Moaninho as **** as he is and as awful football he is ready to play at times, is capable manager. But the football we are playing at the moment, the nuts of PSG and lures of Madrid and Barcelona, means they will rarely get first choice top players now. And that makes their comeback much, much harder. Long it live.
