  • Wages increased by 10%
  • Total wage bill now 308m
  • Drop in commercial and sponsorship money however look to make large annual profits
  • Debt has stayed the same and not reduced
  • Operating profit reduced from 17.9m to 13.9m

It feels to me as if the Glazer's golden goose is close to max capacity for egg production.
Naaa - they can still cut the women’s team again if they need to up the profits.

Bottomed out, they'll have to be careful with wages which will hit them hard in recruitment of top names, of course they can still call on all the players who were boyhood rags like Sanchez who'll join them for pennies......err......

I wasn’t sure where to post this but as the culprit is a Rag I suppose this is as good as anywhere. Just watching Phil Chuckle on Premier League News and he was asked who about Arsenal. He said that “Unai Emery is (with the possible exception of Eddie Howe) the best Manager in the Premier League at the moment” He was then asked to choose the best goalkeeper in the league. He gave mentions to Alisson, Eddie and McCarthy of Southampton but surprise surprise his top pick was DeGea.

Honestly I am telling the truth, you couldn’t make this stuff up.

And that's why he's managing a woman's team (no offense to women).

It seems the rag reserves turned up at Greenock Morton for a reserve game today, I will pop up later with some Dettol.
