The rag circus is being discussed at length in radio 5. The theory being that success on the field is no longer important to the rags because they are a continuing commercial success. Even mentioned that defeats are better than wins because they gets noticed more and generates more news, clicks etc..

The fucking ****. I remember that. Sorry for the language mods but I believe these are extenuating circumstances. .
I won't have a bouncy castle when Ferguson passes but I did promise myself a big big bowl of raspberry ripple for when United face PSG. Neymar... Cavani ... not to mention M'bappe and Di Maria. It could be a absolute trouncing

Thats what comes of having the GPC calling the shots for so long. Too few of them can remember when managers were rotated when styles changed and so on - seems to me that they have no idea what a manager will be like they just pick a name because they have heard of them and expect that he will just continue in the same vein of the GPC and just hoover up all the talent and trophies again..............thats what they think anyway.

Just following the new party line ......even Klippitey is on board with the theory to cover his arse............
