That Sanchez signing has done a lot of damage imo.500 k wages on a player...who won them nothing last season...add that to Carlton Pogbad. ..it's no wonder the sty are not splashing the cash.

Bound to be a knock-on effect from his salary. Why would De Gea, who's been their best player for the last few seasons, be happy at being paid half the money Sanchez gets, same with Pogba and Lukaku. It was the signing of a 'short term' manager, Ferguson, understandably, did it with Van Persie and it allowed him to finish on a high. Mourinho's never left a club in a better state than when he joined because he isn't arsed about anything other than himself, hopefully and by the look of it, Pep is cut from different cloth and there will be a long term succession plan in place when he leaves in 2030 after winning 10 Premier League titles, 4 Champions League's and too many domestic cups to count!

Morning you rag mardarse twats.

Not sure of the game, he was on the right and the ball came to him and he controlled and passed it foward or sideways without letting it touch the grass,i'll see if i can find it,the one across to leroy v stoke was a thing of beauty as well,he is one of the best players we have ever had,by the time he leaves i think i will feel the same about him as i do dave
This one?

Find their treatment of Martial and the birth of his son bizarre in the extreme and a PR disaster for the club. The man's taken a week off to be with his family during pre-season, he's missed no games of any consequence in order to be with his family during one of the most important moments of his life. However you look at it, being a footballer is the same as any other job and he's entitled to spend time with his family after the birth of a child, especially his first. Other players must be looking at Mou and thinking he's an utter prick for castigating Martial so much. I have no doubt that Martial might have come back a lot sooner if there was a CL final a few days later, or if he actually sees a future for himself at the club.

Thing is it won’t bother edwood because it will increase there social media numbers.

Even footballers are entitled to Paternaty Leave, so Is the £180k fine actually legal? All I can think is he didn't apply for it and just stayed off.

I'm not sure that footballers count as regular employees with those rights. The size/nature of their contracts etc. might mean that they're employed via different means than a regular contract of employment so as to avoid paying national insurance etc. Either way, if you're Man Utd and you're looking a reasons to punish him in this situation, then I think you've already lost the battle with the player and from a PR perspective. I'm sure all it would have taken is one person at the club to ring him a day or 2 after the birth and ask how he's getting on and when he'll be back. They must have known he was expecting a child during pre-season a long time ago, which makes their aggressive behaviour even stranger.
