I never said he didn’t get one over on him that year. I said the GPC had the last laugh the following season. If he’d retired in 2012 Bob would’ve finished him.

He admits in one of his books the 6-1 was the worst day of his life, the damage was done then, it’s probably the reason he came to the Etihad that night and played for a draw.
