Maybe the rag PR department are feeding the media 'Real-are-interested-in-Pogbad' stories in the very faint hope someone else will take him off their hands.
I think they are feeding them to the media in the faint hope anyone will take him (and his wages and disquiet) off their hands.

I could have sworn I saw a story earlier about Rashford's new deal - £78m I think it was. I don't know any details but if 5 years that's £300k/week ish.
Anybody else see it or have I made it up? Is there any substance to this or was it just some clickbait I dodged?

The rumours (reported in various outlets) from a couple of days ago were that the club and player were close to agreeing a 300K per week deal.

It seems hard to believe but we'll have to wait and see.

He's one of the most overrated footballers in the history of the sport - I just dont get it.

Poisonous? Most definitely , and it looks like it's starting to unravel again over at the swamp.
You'd think with the size of him he'd be taking games by the scruff of the neck like Yaya used to do - but he just potters about getting involved in the game every now and then.
He's got the skill but lacks the mindset.

Another over-hyped rag. I wouldn't say he's poor, but he's certainly not worth the adulation everybody seems to be throwing his way. And he's definitely not worth the sort of money they are (apparently) happy to pay him.

He's just another social media myth. Not a bad player but not in the top ten in the Premier League. It's bizarre how the pundits behave like sheep and go out of their way to suggest he is some sort of world star. They are spineless. Graeme Souness doesn't rate him. He was one of the best midfield players I have ever seen so that'll do for me. Paul Scholes isn't a big fan either and he was also pretty good in midfield!

I hate how he makes out he was some kind of hard man player in his commentary. He was banging on about McTominay fouling Messi and saying that’s what you had to do to good players. He was an absolute fanny on the pitch especially when he played for us. Utterly contemptuous guy
He was never a fanny always a c**t like Olley Murrs.
