Oh yeah...

You're burying your head in the sand. The football we seen tonight is the same shite we'll see this season. The only difference will be we'll have better quality players in the team who will pull out bits of individual brilliance now and then to nick us a win.
................
Most interesting part of the game was how low that aeroplane was flying. It sounded so close!
...............
It was a terrible performance, dont give a fvck it was preseason.
...............
We have a load of shit in our squad. Our first XI is barely pulling up any trees either.
...............
"Highlights" lol

................
The performance has relevance when it's similar to how we played last season.
...............
Caf meltdown has started early this year.
..............
You just know the first team won't be any better as well. Pre season the results are not so important but I still like to see new patterns of play emerging, the team trying new things and creating more chances. There's no improvement in any of the things we were very poor at last season. Even without some senior players we should still be able to give better showings. We barely did anything in attack.
...............
Typical Mourinho performance that.
...............
Jose in his post-match interview. There’s no life in him. Going to be a long season.
...............
I think we'd be better off with 11 players who don't follow tactical instructions.
...............
Jose is not smiling again ffs....He's such a fecking misery.
...............
Of course performances matter! No matter what type of game it is - players play football for enjoyment of it, like everyone at any level. I'm not sure how anyone could have enjoyed playing that game. Devoid of ideas as usual. No cohesion. Just nothing. Mourinho has been here 2 years and we still have no identity as a football team. It's dreadful football and I don't give a shit if it's a friendly. We're playing the worst team in MLS. Yes, match fitness will affect us a bit but let's not get on like our players we're out on the piss for the past month. If you see their Instagram profiles, most of them have been keeping in shape even on holiday. It's the horrible performance in the attacking third which is worrying. It's exactly what we saw last season. I mean, if it was out of the norm, no one would give a feck but it's not, is it? Our performances have been consitently shit since the Liverpool game at Anfield last season.
................
The only positive we can take from this match is that the stadium was empty which should prompt the executives to think about ways we can increase our short term popularity again and the best way to do that is signings!
................
Jose is not smiling in his post match interview. We're fecking doomed.
...............
At this rate, can easily see Mou getting sacked this season.
...............
No sure why people are complaining it’s not like you haven’t seen this before. Not sure why anyone would expect anything but clueless offense and over reliance on a goal keeper. Who could possibly stop the San Jose Earthquakes, they need to be broken up to it make it fair any other soccer club to have a chance to win.

Oh.. they are last in MLS and have 12 points in 19 matches .... never mind. I was confusing them with 1970 Brazil for a second.
...............

And it goes on.

They really are in the pits. They have no clue, no hope. The Ferguson era? A distant memory, it's in the football fossil record, preserved in stone, just above the scousers.

Alexis Sánchez shines but Manchester United held by San Jose Earthquakes...

Alexis Sánchez offered an eye-catching 65-minute cameo but Manchester United drew a disappointing crowd of 32, 549 for this second tour outing, against San Jose Earthquakes.

Come again? How many?

Who wrote this shite?...Ah!

Bloody hell 32,549 what a load of bollocks.

Two more quotes from the Mail report.

"..it's understood that some Earthquakes fans were selling their match tickets for as little as £10 on ticket exchange websites."

"..the days when they could be guaranteed sell-out crowds Stateside appear to be over."

This will give Woodward sleepless nights, he doesn't give a monkey's nuts about the turgid football, but when the brand can no longer fill a stadium in the USA with eager fans desperate to catch a glimpse of the great Manchester United! He knows the transformation is complete and now the world knows it, they really have turned in to a rich Stoke.

Empty stadium. Turgid performance... Cue the press reports today of mega signings incoming. Mbappe, Neymar, Kroos links incoming...

Like clockwork...

He does put the following in his report though:

“The problem was the empty seats. A venue that holds up to 75,000 appeared around only a quarter full despite the official number given. This followed the half-filled University of Phoenix Stadium for Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Club America. When United played Real Madrid here last year and Barcelona three years ago the venue was a virtual sell-out.”

I’m not sure he realises that he’s actually saying that the Spanish clubs are a much, much bigger draw than his beloved though!

Just what Valencia would want to hear this morning, nothing like kicking a man when hes down..........

Antonio Valencia was forced off after six minutes due to what appeared calf strain.

Mourinho said: “He’s injured. We need to get used to it. Last season he was already in this kind of situation and probably this season we’re going to have more of that.”

United sycophants (Jackson is one, despite his denials) contradict themselves all the time. They talk about Manchester United's predicament as if it's just a prolonged dip in their otherwise inevitable return to dominance. Deep down the smarter ones know those days are gone, never to return and it hurts them badly.

Expect more wailing, gnashing of teeth and social media anger, followed by a Mourinho meltdown and a messy departure, it's as inevitable as the sun rising in the morning.

It appears fake high crowd figures. We used to get genuinely more than that in third division.

I’m going to be honest, I pity them.

It’s like watching your grandad slip into dementia talking about how big and important they were, how any day now the love from their youth are going to walk through the door and love them again. But you can see them for what they are now, and it’s not pretty, there is no happy ending for them anymore.
Time erodes them and their scars are there for everyone to see.

I find it difficult to muster up enough bile to throw their way anymore.
