Maybe they could just ditch the 'football' and use The Swamp for NFL or sell it to Sainsburys?
VERY!Another classic from the caf…………As sucessful as City are, can you honestly say it's entertaining to watch? Imagine going to the Etihad week in week out seeing the same thing over and over again. Possesion football, winning the ball back in the oponents own half, and then bulldozing them down until the inevitable happens and the first goal goes in. Repeating this again and again and the game ends up 4-0 to the home side. Same thing happens in the next match even if the line-up is different.
How entertaining is that?
Same here. When the ball went in, I shouted "they're down!" to a lot of disapproving looks from the rags around us in the cantilever stand paddock.
I think you should reapply to the Samaritans as you are, like me, older and more (ahem) mature.
On second thoughts, fuck that. I'd still piss my self laughing at their tears!

On your house phone? They were, I witnessed it, it was wonderful. A lad I knew rang me up in tears. I think my response stopped me having a career with the Samaritans, oh well.
On your house phone?
Crikey you must have been part of the haves to have had a home phone in ‘74.That's all there was in those days, it was only a few years before that we shared a line with the woman across the road.
Think that was the year most rag fans tell me thats when they started to support united. No glory hunters at the swamp.I remember it well, 1974. Unfortunately it was only for one season.
VERY!
A few on the bus back into town after Law's goal looked fairly suicidal.can you imagine how suicidal theyd be if they ever got relegated ?
Sad Cafe - ironic that their biggest hit was Everyday Hurts
Showing my age :-)
You just made me play that on YouTube. I'm in a whole new dimension of recommend music now!
Went to play Chorlton Cum Hardy G.C. with the golf society I`m a member of. After the game we had a booze and a bite to eat.
I noticed through the double door to my right that they were preparing for a party of some kind, as I got up to go to the bar I could see in this adjoining room, they had a United flag draped over a table. I walked up to the bloke who seemed to be in charge and asked him if this was the "We were only 32 points behind City end of season party" . He didnt look happy but just shook his head and said no.
I love trying to spread happiness and joy as I go about my day.
Looks like the rags have decided that Lukaka is a 'super star' slapping a price tag on him at 80m.
And we get accused of inflating transfer fees!!
