Someones on the caf taking the piss - own up :)

Serious question......

Is there anything to said for a team to be rewarded a "half a goal for hitting the post"

Would make games more interesting and rewards players like Rashford for hitting a worldie off the post.

In most cases hitting a post is harder to do then scoring a goal. Anyone who has attempted the crossbar challenge will agree with this.
That HAS to be someone off here. Has to be. Even the biggest gobshite ever to attach himself to that corporation (and there are many) wouldn't come out with such gibberish.

Or would they?

Looks like they have a pattern, they get a decent manager with a gap of about 20-30 years between tenures. So 2033 is when they are potentially 'back' to the 'United way'.

By then, hopefully, they will either be in the fourth tier or battling to get back into it.

Wouldn't be surprised if it were genuine as they really are dying on the caf and clutching at any straw they can- let their pain deepen and lengthen

And to think after the Chelsea match they all came out the woodwork thinking they was back.

The paper boy coming out with "This is just the start" must have thought they was going through the season unbeaten.

Absolutely can't stop laughing at them lot at the minute.

Rochdale Town Centre yesterday morning was awash with 'em - more Rag shirts than Dale shirts. Turned to Mrs Ewing and said they've crawled out again!

Yeah that seems pretty accurate guess.

If you sort the table by number of games here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Manchester_United_F.C._managers#Statistics
And discount Ferguson, Busby, Mangnall, the temps and the across World War manager's, the average, from a quick visual check, looks about 2-3 years worth of games.
The overall data is massively skewed by 2-3 managers across about 1/3 of the lifetime of the club.

For balance:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Manchester_City_F.C._managers#Managers
Taking out the temps etc, then it's an average of about an average of 2-3 years tenure worth of games as well.

/me awaits some disproval of visual averaging by someone with even more OCD.

Surely not the “United way” that
