Saw us at the three-sided ground in 73-74, Keith Macrae's debut. He let in an early goal but we won 2-1.

Now that is a proper Blue, in those days I went everywhere with City but there was no way I was going to that shithole.

Yep. I went there when City won 3-0 in 67-68. It was quite a bizarre sight with the cricket pitch and pavilion beyond the gap. Yorkshire played first class county games there for many years.

Evening mate, didn't go to Halifax, but remember as a kid me and my mates wagged school to go to a midweek game to Norwich away and we lost, we got stuck on a coach with Helen ring your bell, and she would not let the driver stop all the way home, lads were dying for a kiss and starving and she was having none of it, good times

Here’s hoping you meant piss not kiss there mate. Helen was a nice lady but dear god there are limits.
